LINCOLN, Neb. (WOWT) - A Nebraska volleyball player was cited overnight with driving under the influence.

At 12:47 a.m. Friday, Lincoln Police reported pulling over Huskers outside hitter Harper Murray after violating multiple traffic laws while driving east on Vine Street between 16th Street and Antelope Parkway.

During the traffic stop, LPD officer determined that 19-year-old Murray was suspected of driving under the influence, the police report states. Murray registered a blood-alcohol content of 0.169 — twice the legal limit in Nebraska.

The Ann Arbor, Mich., native was also found to be in possession of a fake ID and did not comply with LPD during the investigation.

Murray was cited for a DUI, careless driving, minor in possession, acts declared unlawful, and obstructing a peace officer.

In her freshman season with the Huskers, Murray recorded a team second-best 391 kills and earned Big Ten Freshman of the Year. Murray was also named to the AVCA All-America Third Team.
