OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Anna Bragg knows how to put on a show.

“Any game you come to, you’re going to get something really exciting,” said Marian girls soccer head coach Teresa DeGeorge.

The senior forward leads the Crusaders with 22 goals on the year along with nine assists—which ties a team-high.

“She has great talent—the sky is the limit for her,” DeGeorge added. “It’s so exciting when I can say a player hasn’t reached their peak. Anna hasn’t reached her peak yet. She has big time drive.”

That was on display in Marian’s 3-0 win over Papillion-La Vista in the district championship. Bragg scored two goals in the victory.

“I just give all the credit to my teammates,” she said. “They always set me up for success. I couldn’t have done anything without them.”

Anna will continue her soccer career at Creighton, becoming the latest Bragg to join the Jays. Her brother, Brady, is a freshman on the Creighton men’s soccer team.

“The concept of family around that and being close to home, it just felt so special to me and felt so right,” she said. “I love everything about Creighton and the coaching staff as well.”

Before her college journey begins, she is focused on bringing home a state title to Marian.

“This team has so much grit and we play the game for each other and love each other,” Bragg said. “I think we have what it takes. We just have to stay humble.”
