6 FIRST ALERT TRAFFIC: Two long-term road closures to impact traffic in Omaha

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Construction season continues to motor on, with new zones to work around for commuters.

This includes the latest phase of the long-term reworking of Nebraska Highway 50, also known as 144th Street, in Millard.

Millard Avenue is closed between U Street and 144th to thru traffic.

This is scheduled to remain closed through August.

Use 144th to Q (and vice versa) as the alternate route while this closure is in place.

Further north, a new closure on State Street will impact traffic west of Blair High.

The stretch between Blair High and 120th will be closed for the next three weeks.

After that, the closure will remain in place from Blair High to 114th through fall.

This closure is for a culvert replacement project.
