CWS 2024: Watch for increased vehicle, pedestrian traffic
OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - With the College World Series starting Friday and continuing through next weekend, the area near Charles Schwab Field will be very busy.
Keep in mind that many people from outside of the Omaha metro will be visiting and checking out all that the area has to offer.
This means increased pedestrian traffic, both near the baseball field and into downtown.
Drive with caution as you move through these areas.
Also, consider many people will be looking for parking near the stadium; if you will be heading there for a game, leave plenty of extra time to get parked and into the stadium.
One more note: remember that Mike Fahey is closed to through traffic between 10th and 13th Streets, and 12th Street is closed between Mike Fahey and Cass Streets, until the College World Series is over.
