Rusty’s First Alert Forecast - Humidity returns today along with a few spotty storms
OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - We’re starting with clouds and some pretty quiet weather out the door this Thursday morning as any showers are mostly east of the area. A warm front lifting north through the area will bring humidity back and try to spark some afternoon storms as it passes through.
We’ll watch for those spotty storms trying pop up any time after noon through early evening before they exit north.
The warm front will also cause the dew points on the muggy meter to gradually rise all day. That means we’ll pair up that muggy feel with highs in the mid 80s later this afternoon.
We’ll top out near 90 degrees each day this weekend and the only potential for rain and storms will be Saturday morning into early afternoon.
Keep an eye on early next week as that could be our first couple of days with heat index values up over 100 degrees this season.
