Bank robbery reported in northwest Omaha
OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Police were on the scene of a reported bank robbery in northwest Omaha on Wednesday morning.
Officers were dispatched to the US Bank at 8902 Maple Road just before 9 a.m.
Police describe two men dressed in black getting away with an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect getaway vehicle was found unoccupied at 60th and Birch streets.
6 News saw police presence securing the building. No shots were fired, and no one at the scene was hurt, but OPD said in its report Wednesday afternoon that bank employees had been zip-tied.

“A tip leading to an arrest in a bank robbery is eligible for a $20,000 reward,” the OPD update states.
