Emily’s 6 First Alert Forecast - A couple of chilly mornings on the way
OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Clouds clear tonight and after a pleasant Wednesday we’ll cool quickly, nearing record lows Thursday morning. Plan for a mix of the low to mid 50s for most. A low of 56 for Omaha brings us within 3 degrees of the record low for the day!
You may need a light jacket early on, from there the day looks great! We’ll gradually warm to a high of 82 for Omaha under sunny skies. Our Back to School Drive runs from 5AM-7PM and the forecast will be comfortable throughout the school supply drive. Stop by the Scheels Parking lot to donate new, unopened school supplies.
Friday morning will be a bit chilly as well with upper 50s to low 60s... highs climb to the mid 80s with slightly muggy conditions as rain chances get ready to reenter the forecast.
Our next chance for rain enters the forecast Friday evening into the weekend. Chances look best Saturday, especially in the morning but spotty showers and storms will linger into the evening. With cloudy skies and rain, the day will be cool in the 70s. Sunday looks somewhat drier with a chance for a few scattered showers.
We’ll gradually warm throughout next week.
