Rusty’s First Alert Forecast - Fantastic stretch of weather before some weekend rain
OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - You get some phenomenal weather out the door this morning that should continue the rest of the day and the rest week for that matter. The main reason for the pleasant weather will be the lower dew points on the muggy meter.
Dew points will dip all day as highs warm into the 80s around the area. We’ll have a light north breeze thrown in the mix as well.
Temperatures are expected to dip low enough tonight that we could threaten some record lows, including in the metro. Many of us will settle into the 50s.
More great weather is expected tomorrow for Thursday and our Back to School drive. Low dew points and cool summer temps along with sunshine should feel great.
Rain chances will return to the area starting Friday afternoon with spotty showers and storms possible into the evening too. The severe threat is low with those chances and the chances of rain through the weekend too. Saturday’s rain potential looks the greatest and it will be cloudy and cooler most of the weekend while it isn’t raining.
