Rusty’s First Alert Forecast - Cool and comfortable all weekend
OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - We’re waking up to a very chilly August morning with several us in the lower 50s as you head out the door. The record low for today is 49. We should get close to it but likely barely avoid it.
Under the partly cloudy skies we’ll be able to warm into the mid 70s this afternoon. More clouds are likely to the southwest, more sun is likely northeast. All this happens with dew points very low on the muggy meter.
It should be a great day of school to those that started up yesterday.
Over the entire weekend it will be incredibly in the morning as we start in the 50s but we should be able to warm to near 80 degrees each afternoon. There will be more clouds by Sunday leading to a chance of showers by the afternoon. There will be more showers and storms overnight into Monday morning too. At this point it doesn’t look like there is much of severe threat with any of this.
