OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Much like our Friday, our Saturday starts off with temperatures in the 50s.

We’ll also be looking at a day where we are in and out of the cloud cover with a little more of the consistent cloud deck staying over southeastern Nebraska.

With a light southwest wind in place and a slightly warmer start in the metro, we should end up just a couple of degrees warmer for our highs as we land in the upper 70s.

Overall, it will be another comfortable day to get outdoors!

Sunday will have increasing cloud cover through the day with a chance for a few spotty showers in the late afternoon to early evening.

The better chance for some storms comes after sunset and into the overnight.

Severe storms are not expected at this point with lightning and some downpours more likely.

Some showers stay with us to start our Monday but end early on.

It will be a bit of a struggle to clear the cloud cover, though, leading to the third straight day with highs in the upper 70s.

Tuesday will start off dry but bring the chance for some isolated thunderstorms late in the day.

We’ll also be feeling more mugginess at this point to go along with highs back in the low 80s.

The temps will continue to climb through the week with upper 80s by Thursday and Friday.

Off and on chances for storms are also in the forecast, though plenty of dry hours will be present too.
