Rusty’s First Alert Forecast - Cloudy & mild with increasing rain chances Sunday
OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - We’ll have quite a few clouds moving through the area today and that should help to keep us cooler than average once again. Highs in the upper 70s are likely for most of us.
Rain chances are in the forecast as early as noon today but by far the best chances to see some rain and storms will be after 10pm tonight. The majority of us should stay dry before then.
Dew points are expected to stay low on the muggy meter for one more day meaning your should be able to enjoy the rest of the weekend with that humid feeling.
Showers and storms are likely to continue on and off through the overnight possibly lingering into the very early morning hours of Monday. With the severe threat very low to near zero, downpours will be the biggest issue with any of the storms. Hopefully some areas can top a half inch of rain.
We’ll start Monday with some rain showers lingering in the area but overall the majority should be done for us by the time you head to work. Clouds will be tough to shake though and we’ll likely only warm into the 70s for one more day.
More rain and storms chances return by Tuesday night and the dew points are forecast to rise up the muggy meter the rest of the week. We’ll be back to summer before you know it.
