Rusty’s First Alert Forecast - Morning showers followed by afternoon clearing Monday
OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Rounds of rain and storms from the overnight have tapered off quite a bit as we get ready to start our day and our week. Rain chances are in the forecast through about 8am then the clouds will be a bit stubborn the rest of the morning.
We should get some afternoon clearing today allowing the high to climb into the upper 70s to end the afternoon.
This will happen with more humidity in the air. The dew points have gone up on the muggy meter so we’ll be in the muggy range all day.
It will be little warmer Tuesday and Wednesday. More rain and storms are in the forecast later Tuesday after 10pm and those could linger into early Wednesday. That pattern of overnight storms into the early morning will continues Wednesday night as well. We’ll watch Wednesday night for the next potential for some stronger storms too.
Overall we’re back to a warmer and humid pattern with many highs in the 80s this week into the weekend.
