Emily’s 6 First Alert Forecast - Less smoke and a few spotty t-showers this weekend
OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Friday is on the warmer side with temperatures in the upper 80s to low 90s despite a NW breeze. We’ll stay warm through the night with a slow cool down expected.
The NW wind is also carrying in smoke from Canadian wildfires... the air quality has dropped to moderate for our Friday and we will see some improvements over the weekend.
You’ll likely notice some smoke in the air this weekend, but it won’t be as thick and air quality should slowly improve.
The weekend forecast is pleasant with slightly below seasonal highs in the lower 80s. A few spotty t-showers cannot be ruled out both afternoons with chances keeping mainly SW of the Metro.
We’re tracking another rain chance and another dip in temperatures for the middle of next work week.
