Rusty’s First Alert Forecast - Warm & humid into a great August weekend
OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - There is a little fog to work around as we start off a muggy morning in the area. It will be muggy most of the day as we burn the fog off and enjoy quite a bit of sunshine. Highs in the upper 80s will feel warm too.
The dew points will hang in the muggy range today with a bit of a NNW breeze. Some gusts to 25 mph are possible, especially in West Central Iowa.
I expect a quiet night ahead with lows in the 60s by Saturday morning. There is a small small chance of a couple spotty showers during the morning hours Saturday but most of us will stay dry all day.
Overall a dry and rather typical August weekend is ahead with highs in the 80s.
No major heat waves ahead over the course of the next 10 days and likely the rest of the month.
