Rusty’s First Alert Forecast - Rounds of showers in the forecast through midweek
OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - You’ll notice some patchy fog as we start the day today. There are some spotty showers on the map west of the metro we’ll have to watch too. That fog will burn off as the sun rises but those spotty showers could be a bit more stubborn to get rid of.
As we get some afternoon sunshine we’ll be able to warm into the lower 80s. It will feel a bit muggy as well but nothing too far outside the norm for August.
Much better rain chances are in the forecast by mid to late morning Tuesday with scattered showers and a few storms possible. Again the best odds are likely to be for Nebraska viewers with few showers able to drift east into Iowa.
Clouds and shower will definitely keep us cooler Tuesday with highs in the 70s likely. It may end up being very similar to what we dealt with on Sunday.
A few more showers are possible Wednesday morning too before we try to clear out a bit more for the rest of the week.
It will get warmer heading into the weekend with highs returning to the 90s by Saturday & Sunday.
