Chase Matteson

Chase joins 10/11 after graduating from the University of Missouri in May of 2023 with a degree in Broadcast Journalism.

While in school, he spent four years working at KOMU, the NBC affiliate in Columbia, Missouri. He covered the Missouri Tigers including SEC media days, year one of Dennis Gates, and their trip to the 2022 Gasparilla Bowl. He also helped lead the mid-Missouri High School football coverage every Fall. He also hosted a Mizzou Football web series called the "Tiger Kickoff Show" as a collaboration with the local newspaper the Columbia Missourian.

He originally is from Dallas, Texas, where he spent his childhood playing sports, acting in plays, and having an active role in student government. He enjoys attending Dallas Maverick games and returning home to visit his parents Rich and Kimberly. He has one older brother, Cameron, who lives in Florida.

In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball and golf. He also is an avid coffee fan and is excited to taste test everything Lincoln has to offer! He cares about quality journalism and has a passion for creative storytelling.
