St. Petersburg, Florida -- Trader Joe's is now open for business in St. Petersburg!
Trader Joe's celebrated the grand opening of its St. Pete store located at 2742 4th Street North on Friday morning. The store features festive décor, mixing traditional Trader Joe's cedar-covered walls and Hawaiian-inspired elements with local flare, including art that celebrates the neighborhood.
In the store, there are several colorful hand-painted murals that pay homage to the Skyway Bridge, Weedon Island Preserve, the Grand Prix of St. Petersburg, local beaches, and more.
The grand opening will continue throughout the day with food demonstrations, live music, a balloon artist and more. The store will be open from 8 a.m. until 9 p.m.
