Krispy Kreme Unveiled Its Heart-Shaped Valentine’s Day Donuts That You Can Use To Send A Love Note
Happy February! It's officially the season of loveeeee which means everything possible is turning heart-shaped and pink and red and sparkly. Chic! To kick off this month of romance, Krispy Kreme is releasing a new line of heart-shaped donuts and, honestly, it was love at first sight at soon as we laid eyes upon them.
The new line is called “Dough-Notes” because they come in a custom Valentine’s Day dozen box designed to look like a post-marked letter. There are four different donuts in the collection, each more beautiful than the next.
First up is the Sprinkled Heart. It's filled with Cake Batter Kreme, dipped in red icing, and topped with heart sprinkles. Next is the Sugar Cookie Heart, which is filled with Sugar Cookie Kreme, then dipped and drizzled with white icing and sprinkled with Valentine’s sugar blend. The Strawberries & Kreme Heart is sure to be a favorite. It's filled with Strawberry Kreme, dipped in strawberry icing, and decorated with a sugar piece heart. Finally, we have the Chocolate Caramel Heart, which is filled with Caramel Kreme, dipped in chocolate icing, drizzled with white icing, and topped with Valentine confetti sprinkles.
The whole collection is available starting today at participating Krispy Kreme locations across the U.S. for a limited time. Pick up some to eat while spending Valentine's Day watching rom-coms or order a dozen or more online and add a custom note to be delivered to your sweetheart. CUTE. Honestly, heart-shaped donuts are the new bouquets, I'm calling it now.
