      Do they accept walking?

      A:

They do! But come early - even if you get there before they open and go up the first elevator, you might have to wait at the bar. I've walked in twice during opening and been seated within 15 minutes.

We decided to come to Cindy's after a long few hours of walking around the city, and we had the best time! We only waited around five minutes to get seated.

If you want a great view of Lake Michigan and a fun vibe, this is the place to go. While we were waiting for our table we hung outside on their rooftop patio and took some great pictures! It was pretty crowded when we went in the mid afternoon!

We were seated right by the glass door entrances to the rooftop on a big comfy couch, so we had the best seat in the house! We decided to order the Strawberry Fields drink which was amazing and strong. If you like Aperol Spritz and more of a bitter taste, this is the drink for you! We also ordered some nuts and olives to snack on.

Our waitress was the nicest woman ever! She was friendly, attentive, and my family had such a great conversation with her about Chicago since we had never been before. I highly recommend this place if you want some good drinks and great views!

I reserved a table for 1 for brunch and had a great experience. I ordered the cheeseburger and it was really good! The mimosas are a nice champagne pour. The view was awesome of course and I took my drink out on the patio while I waited for my food. The service was excellent and I didn't feel rushed at all. I live downtown and this was on my bucket list of Chicago things to do. Make a reservation if you want a table, otherwise you'll have to take your chances at the bar.

It is a really gorgeous rooftop patio with direct view of the infamous bean sculpture so I'd recommend to come here for photos opps. However, I disliked the food.

I got the chef's salad which tasted like a glorified Caesar salad as it had a lot of parmesan and ranch dressing on top. The salad also came with dried bacon bits which tasted stale and lacked a fresh taste. Disappointing.

The iced matcha latte was also a flop as the matcha wasn't properly stirred in properly and left specs of powder in the glass. The matcha taste was also lackluster and only tasted like milk/creamer in a cup. Would recommend sticking to cocktails.

My boyfriend got the korean fried chicken burger which tasted pretty good! It came with chips and a delicious pickle! I would recommend the burger if you were to order food.

The food isn't anything to write home about, but the ambiance at Cindy's is unbeatable. This is a Chicago classic and is basically required if you're visiting the city.

You'll get that legendary view of Millennium Park and the lake, which is what really makes this place what it is. Grab a drink and enjoy an upscale rooftop with friends.

Make sure you have a reservation so you don't have to wait - or tough it out for an hour and a half and wait. But really, get a reservation.

Came here and sat at the bar before dinner. I got lucky and arrived just as two people were getting up so I sat right away. Chris was our bartender. He was great. He was very knowledgeable about bourbon and scotch and gave great recommendations. I definitely plan on coming back.

Such a great view with fantastic drinks. 100% must stop by place while in Chi town. The wait was pretty short too.

Consistently an awesome experience with some of the best views in the city. Cindy's is one of my favorite spots in Chicago and I always make it a point to visit whenever I'm in town. Check out game room on the second floor for a more relaxed and cozy ambiance.

It was a great experience. We were able to watch the sunset from the balcony. Beautiful view. We ordered the East coast oysters, though very delicious they were the size of a nickel. At $4.00 each, they were pricey. The chicken was delicious and very tasty. The drinks weren't bad either.
A good experience but very pricey for the amount of food you get.

Saw this place was on many peoples must go to rooftop bars. I got lucky there was a seat left at the bar so no wait time for me. I ordered the fry fish with fries and a mocktail/spirit free drink. I can't remember the name of the spirit free drink, but it had strawberry and rose water (?). It was refreshing and not overly sweet which is what I wanted bc I didn't want sweetness that overpowered the intended flavors. As for the fry fish.... Love the fry fish as it was lightly battered and consisted more of actual fish and not batter. Learned something new which was the difference of lightly battered fried fish in the Illinois/Michigan area. Accompanying sauce was good as well. Fries had a nice crisp to them. Highly recommend, but would also recommend making reservations as I heard some of the wait times were over an hour even for lunch.

Great place to go see the bean from a rooftop view! The one thing that I didn't see in a lot of the reviews is that it's just a great view in general of Lake Michigan and Millennium Park and the amphitheater.

Located in a hotel, there's an elevator that takes you straight to the top

Would definitely recommend making a reservation if you're going to eat, even for a party of 1, as the bar wasn't too big, and was packed when I arrived.

Ordered the espresso martini, bc, duh, and then made my way outside, as I was only there for the view! It is quite a beautiful view and hard to not just stay to soak up the view. The rooftop does not having seating, it's more for observation, and has a small ledge to set your drink on as you enjoy the views!

If you can, make your way over, even if just for 10 mins for a drink and the views!

We came here for brunch, apparently having to do so because of the view of Chicago from the roof.

The food was decent, but I don't know that it would normally be worth the price. It really seems like you're mostly paying for the balcony view. Unfortunately, the sun roof at noon also meant that it was a little painful to sit in the sun and eat!

The view is good for sure. The food is decent. If you have the money to spend, why not?
