They do! But come early - even if you get there before they open and go up the first elevator, you might have to wait at the bar. I've walked in twice during opening and been seated within 15 minutes.

Only came here for drinks & view on the rooftop, and that was great! We tried getting a brunch res during our Chicago trip, but never managed to snag one. I was about to give up on visiting, despite all the recommendations from friends, but luckily saw last minute that you don't need a res and instead can just order at the bar and enjoy your drink at the outdoor roof space.
We were wandering near The Bean on a super hot August Sunday, so we were relieved to be able to go to the bar at Cindy's and enjoy some much-needed AC. The view from their outdoor roof space is delightful! And once we started sweating again, we just went inside and were able to snag some bar seats. Turns out, you can even order food at the bar! We'll definitely be back next time we're in Chicago!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 304278Aug 11, 2024
The interior is beautifully decorated with gorgeous windows and views from every chair! The interior is a walk up, first come - first served.
The exterior rooftop bar is worth it to check out by itself. There is no outdoor seating available for anyone who just wants to drink and enjoy the view. There are tables outside but they are reserved.
The drinks that my group tried were acceptable. Nothing life changing, but heavy pours!
Although I did not get to personally try any of the food, what I did see looked great.
I was simply here to enjoy the view and a drink from bar area outside.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Aug 7, 2024
Definitely the best rooftop bar in Chicago.
It's located in the Chicago athlete Association hotel, this is a great place to go and hang out. The building itself has a rich history. You definitely can wander around before making your way to the elevator to take you up to Cindy's rooftop.
I went around four and it's was not very busy. I found a spot by the bar and immediately got help from the bartender.
The best part of this bar are the views. The rooftop is made of glass you can see directly outside. There's also a patio where you can walk around with your drink and you can look over millennial Park. This place was recommended to me by a friend and I would definitely recommend it to anybody who is visiting Chicago for the first time.Helpful 2Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 1 - 29676279Aug 6, 2024
Getting a reservation was tough. I was trying for weeks! I did add my email to the waitlist in case something opened up and as it got closer to the date, you'll start receiving a ton of emails with availability. Be on the lookout as they will get booked fast!
The place was a little smaller than expected. It is located on the top floor with amazing views!! The service was great and the food was amazing! We visited on a Thursday afternoon (around 5pm) and the place was BUSY!
As for food, I got the SWEET CORN CAMPANELLE and it was so delicious and rich. It is filled with corn and bacon pieces.
My husband got the Kurobuta Pork Collar and absolutely loved it. The beans were probably my favorite. Both plates were bigger portions and very filling.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Aug 1, 2024
I had a great time at Cindy's! There are so many good things I could say about this place!!
The service was great! Our server was Michael and he was very helpful and friendly. He helped us decide on drinks and was very attentive throughout the whole meal despite it being pretty busy. We also had a reservation for 1:45 but, because we were running ahead of schedule, we got there at 12:15 and they were very accommodating and sat us right away!
The restaurant itself is so pretty inside and has a great view of the city, including a perfect view of the bean! The staff encourages you to check out their balcony area even if you're eating inside, which was super nice. We got to step out there with our drinks and take pictures. It was also very hot outside the day we went here and we were nervous it would be way too hot up on their rooftop, but it was a very comfortable temperature inside.
The food was delicious!!!! I got the fish fry and the aioli that comes with it was SO good!! My mom and sister split the salad and the burger and loved both as well.
I highly recommend Cindy's and I will definitely be back!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jul 28, 2024
Good food, generally good service, and great ambiance!!
After reading good reviews about this place, we decided to come here after hours of walking in the city during our visit of Chicago. Based on the reviews, I anticipated a big crowd being that it's a sunny Saturday afternoon... and indeed it was! I put my name in and it was a 45-min wait. The nice thing was we were able to wait at the balcony to soak in the view, which I think this was the main draw to the restaurant.
We got seated next to another couple, and that was perfectly fine. Nice lighting with high ceiling, which made the whole place looked quite spacious. The server came right away and got us water. We actually already knew what we wanted as we looked at the menu during the wait, and he took our order right away as well.
We ordered Prawns Nayarit and Mozzarella di Bufala with Chicken Thigh, and a spirit-free drink (forgot the name). The prawns were perfectly cooked, but the sauce was the winner, blending well with the shrimp, and worked even better with the toast! The winner, however, was the mozzarella dish. For whatever reason, the cheese and the grapes worked really well together. It was light, a bit sweet, and a bit savory, and together with the heavier chicken meat, it was fantastic!! We devoured the whole thing in minutes. As dessert, we got Black Sesame Pavlova. The presentation was fun and photogenic, but the taste was just OK.
Overall, we really enjoyed our experience here, and will most likely come back when we're back in town!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 220166276Jul 14, 2024
Came for a Sunday morning brunch -being tourists in our own city. Had a reservation for when they opened and they seated us quickly.
Started with the donut which was peach cobbler and the hummingbird coffee cake. Both were delicious. We tried the avocado toast and chicken and waffles. Both delicious and didn't disappoint.
Service is spectacular and the views and ambiance are top notch.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 3685571443Jul 7, 2024
I went for a friends graduation brunch, and it was definitely a hopping spot in the city, and I can see the appeal for the rooftop views alone, but I think it's a bit overpriced for what you're getting in my opinion.
I had the biscuits and gravy ($25) which was fine but also strange in that it tasted more like a chowder than gravy.
I also got the chocolate chip cookies which were and came in an order of 3 for $12. As I said, a bit overpriced for cookies, but actually felt worth it for their size and deliciousness.
Of course, part of why you're coming here is for the views and this place did not disappoint! Despite it being a very hot day outside, there was a good crowd out there especially because there's a bar on the patio as well.
And even though it was very busy throughout the entire time there, my party and I had fairly consistent service, although I did have my drink order forgotten, but the server ended up comping me for it, which made up for it.Helpful 3Thanks 1Love this 3Oh no 0 - Jul 9, 2024
We decided to come to Cindy's after a long few hours of walking around the city, and we had the best time! We only waited around five minutes to get seated.
If you want a great view of Lake Michigan and a fun vibe, this is the place to go. While we were waiting for our table we hung outside on their rooftop patio and took some great pictures! It was pretty crowded when we went in the mid afternoon!
We were seated right by the glass door entrances to the rooftop on a big comfy couch, so we had the best seat in the house! We decided to order the Strawberry Fields drink which was amazing and strong. If you like Aperol Spritz and more of a bitter taste, this is the drink for you! We also ordered some nuts and olives to snack on.
Our waitress was the nicest woman ever! She was friendly, attentive, and my family had such a great conversation with her about Chicago since we had never been before. I highly recommend this place if you want some good drinks and great views!Helpful 3Thanks 1Love this 2Oh no 0 - 65964Jul 1, 2024
The interior of the restaurant was soso beautiful with a gorgeous view from the balcony.
As for the food, the lamb ragu was amazing. It was bursting with flavors, and the pasta was cooked beautifully. It was a very balanced dish overall. I tried my boyfriends shrimp and crab roll and did not enjoy it. Very average. Some seasoned shrimp and crab tossed in a lime marinade wrapped in a roll. The lunch menu had limited offerings. I would recommend coming here for drinks and the vibes. The food, the ones offered today at least, was not that exciting. (Besides the lamb ragu).
The service was good and attentive!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
