How is parking at this restaurant?

      A:

There is a lot across the way, or you can try to find street parking which isn't the easiest. I'd recommend taking public transportation or Uber over driving and parking.

    • Q:

How many people does a paella feed?

      A:

The paella is fairly large! I went with a party of 4 (myself included) and there were still leftovers.

Food was okay. The sides/apps have such small portions for the price. The salmon ahumado was good but on the smellier side for fish. The paella mar y montaña was also good and portion was huge!

Service is great! However, ambiance is a little shaky. It's right by the water. We made a reservation and were seated outside. Even though it was bright outside, it was cold and windy outside which really brought down the ambiance imo.

I recently dined at this charming tapas place, and it brought back wonderful memories of Barcelona! The ambiance is delightful, with a cozy and inviting atmosphere that captures the essence of a traditional Spanish tapas bar. The decor is tasteful and authentic, with warm lighting, rustic wooden tables, and vibrant Spanish tiles.

The tapas selection is impressive, offering a variety of classic and innovative dishes. The patatas bravas were crispy and perfectly seasoned, while the jamón ibérico melted in my mouth. The seafood paella was flavorful and generously packed with fresh ingredients.

If you're looking for an authentic taste of Barcelona in a cute and cozy setting, this tapas place is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended for a special night out or when you're craving a little piece of Spain!

Pretty busy restaurant with nice views of the pier. Though our full party wasnt there, they were nice ans let us sit since it was not super busy. Food was pretty good as usual, service was alright. It can get a tad smoky in there at times but it was not too bad tonight.

My favorite thing at the restaurant are the beautiful and large variety of gin and tonic cocktails. So cute though pricey at $17-20 each.

      Total came out $70/person.

So glad my coworker recommended this spot for us to visit while I was in town! The location on the water is just fabulous and the view is great on the patio. The Albariño they have is so tasty and crisp! Every dish we had was delicious and the service was very attentive. Highly recommend!

We decided to stop in to Coqueta on a whim while running errands in the city and it did not disappoint!

The ambiance was very cozy and comfy with beautiful ocean views. We felt a tad underdressed in shorts and tee shirts, but our lovely server Juliana made us feel comfortable and welcomed.

Our cocktails were very well balanced and tasty. We ordered the salt and air margarita and the sutter smash (whiskey, apricot purée and cinnamon). Both were excellent.

From the pintxo menu we tried the championes (mushroom), & anchovy bites. Both were so good we ordered another round. You would never think to put anchovy and olive with mandarin orange or whatever citrus they used on the skewer but it was delicious.

We also tried the truffled honey smoked salmon, black garlic prawns, potato bravas, and duck & pork meatballs. The star of the bunch was definitely the prawns, the flavor was so mouthwateringly good. Be warned they do come head on, so if you're adverse to shrimp eyeballs this might not be the dish for you. But I highly recommend.

We weren't the biggest fans of the meatballs unfortunately. The texture was on the mushy side. We ordered it because of the duck but didn't pick up much duck flavor in the meatballs themselves.

Lastly we tried the Manchego cheesecake lollipops and they were a nice way to finish a delicious meal.

Overall, our first experience at Coqueta was AMAZING and we will definitely be back. It's been on my list of places to visit for years, so I'm glad we finally got to try it.

Great service and super yummy food! Highly recommend their Paella Mar y Montaña (good for 2-3 people) and the Patatas Bravas!!!

Other food was okay or maybe just not to my taste- the Pluma (iberico shoulder loin) was yummy but nothing special (especially for the price) and the salmon ahumado was just not to my taste.

Food was delish. Pricey for what you get, but you get flavors, unique dishes and a good experience. Our waiters were sweet and dishes came out fast. Minus one because it was definitely overpriced.

This was one of my favorites pre-pandemic and I stopped by in hopes nothing had changed. I am lucky it has not! More outdoor seating is provided but the smaller bar with seating tucked into a cable car sized space is the real gem. The gin and tonics are still incredibly nuanced and yet still simple. We had patatas bravado, stuffed dates, and pan con tomate with our drinks. Lovely pier to view the water is steps outside the restaurant. The bar staff is incredibly polite and well trained in the intricate cocktails and tasty menu. Everything here is incredible. Be warned the cocktails are not for the weak! A show stopper not to be missed in this local's opinion.
