Q:
Anyone bring their kids here recently? I would like to make a reservation for my husbands birthday and our two children.
A:
I go there with my wife and toddler all the time. Other than him being fussy sometimes when we go, they are very accommodating. I would ask about kids menus when you book for reservation, can't remember if they have one or not.

The overall experience was nothing short of stellar! Their Valentine's Day menu also with the wine pairing was exquisite. The Beef Wellington was cooked to perfection.
The service was great. The ambience was romantic with dimmed lights and red roses.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Nestled inside of the Ritz Carlton, Fearing's stands as a beacon of culinary excellence, offering a sublime journey through the vibrant and robust flavors.
There was impeccable service, and our server was highly committed to guest satisfaction.
From the moment we were seated, the staff exhibited a perfect balance of attentiveness and professionalism. Even Dean Fearing came by our table to check on us and our service. Our server, well-versed in the menu, guided us through the culinary offerings with enthusiasm and a genuine passion for the cuisine.
We ordered the southwest sampler, chicken fried lobster tail with a beef tenderloin, and the buffalo tenderloin. All were exceptional! We left too full to try dessert but very satisfied with our selections. We would love to come back and try more of the menu!Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

A wonderful place... food, atmosphere, staff, everything was wonderful.
I went with my partner and in-laws, they live in southern Oklahoma, and came to pick me up at DFW. We then stopped for lunch. So glad we did.
Recommend the Tortilla Soup as an appetizer- it really stood out, even though everything was great. I even bought a copy of Chef Fearing's cookbook and brought it home to Upstate New York, can't wait to try some of the dishes outlined in the book! I was so enjoying the food, that I forgot to take pictures of it, and it made no sense to post pictures of our empty plates. Look forward to returning to Dallas, and visiting it again.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 6314852Mar 20, 2023
What an incredible experience! Came to Fearing's to celebrate my daughters birthday and had a great time.
We were greeted and sat promptly upon our arrival and the service team was warm and friendly. The meal kicked off with the delicious breadbasket with three bread offerings and smoked butter. All tree options were quite tasty, but the sourdough in particular was particularly tasty and well done.
From there we had a complimentary amuse of the tiniest taco ever!
Moved on to share the sampler with the Crab Cake, lobster taco, and enchilada and all were very well prepared and delish.
The entrees arrived and we had the Scallops, Beef filet with Chicken Fried Lobster, and the Buffalo filet. All were excellent with highlights with each dish. The pork belly that accompanied the scallops was great and those grits! Do not miss the grits! The chicken fried lobster was a highlight as well as the Buffalo filet itself. Safe to say that the entrees were exactly what you would expect, well executed with solid flavors all around.
But now we come to the desserts and I feel like this is where Fearing's truly shines. So many of the components were the best we ever had of that item! Banana pudding and Beignets? Both were the best I have ever tasted and that includes Cafe du Monde in New Orleans for the beignets. The Lemon Ice Box Pie was the best I have ever experienced of that offering as well with the perfect tang from the Myer Lemon. Even the complimentary chocolate cake for the birthday was remarkable. All this and I haven't t even mentioned the perfectly prepared Creek Brûlée. It was all remarkable, the pastry kitchen game here is strong and should not be missed. Save room people!!
The dining room is also a standout. Very clean and comfortable. I personally appreciate that the booths are set away from the walls so the booth can be serviced from both sides to reduce reaching across the diners.
Thank you Fearing's for such a great dinner!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Mar 26, 2023
I was treated here recently. Our main courses were pretty good. The rest of the food was nothing special. The price that got paid horrified me. There are much better meals in Dallas for far less money. You are mostly paying for the real estate with this meal. Valet parking is required if not staying at the hotel and costsWhipped Truffle Hive Cheese $15.
Food (3/5): Started with the Lone Star Surf & Turf Carpaccio, which is a selection of thin meats and fish overwhelmed by aioli and oil. Both of the mains were good. I had the Achiote Glazed Broken Arrow Ranch Nilgai Antelope. The meat was tender and not gamy at all. It comes with a rabbit enchilada, which was very good. I took a few bites of the BBQ Spiced Beef Filet & Chicken Fried Maine Lobster and like the beef more than the lobster, which is heavily breaded. Both mains were perfect portion sizes for a multi-course meal. We had the Whipped Truffle Hive Cheese, which was a bit monotonous and too large for two. It tasted like a sweet ricotta dip with some fancy crackers for dipping.
Service (4/5): Professional.
Ambience (4/5): Some people are dressed to the nines. The space is large and each room is different. All of the seating and decor is fitting for the Ritz Carlton.Helpful 0Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 1 - Dec 12, 2022
Came here for breakfast:
1. Best french toast I've ever had. The crispy coconut pineapple french toast is unique because it comes as little cubes, which means it has a higher ratio of the wonderful toasty edges. I normally don't eat french toast and here I started with "just one bite" and ended up devouring the entire plate leaving none for anyone else.
2. Avocado toast was good. It had a mini salad on top which is not a bad thing - it made it more substantial and filling - and certainly makes for great presentation.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Gerri G.Santa Ana, CA401821Aug 27, 2023
We ordered drinks and an appetizer on Fearing's patio while listening to a favorite singer, Joseph Veazie. Due to the excessive heat, we opted for a non-alcoholic cocktail--Facetious--which was refreshing and tasty. However, it's the wagyu empanada that brought me here to post a review. It was outstanding! The combination of flavors had my tastebuds tingling. I devoured it before getting a picture, so trust me on this--order it!
The people watching is great, with lots of beautiful people stopping in to see and be seen.Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - M E.Dallas, TX63201360Dec 20, 2023Updated review

Overall, we had a pleasant dining experience at Fearing's. The dress code I think is smart casual, or you can dress up too. The service is very good and the vibes are great. We loved our table location in front of the chef's prep line!
The complimentary bread box is outstanding compared to other fine dining restaurants that we've been. Three different options with soft butter and they are yummy.
Southwest Sampler is a great appetizer too. We particularly like the BBQ Short Rib Enchilada with Chorizo Queso Fundido & the Crispy Two-Bite Lobster Tacos with Avocado Relish! Flavorful yet not too heavy.
Entrees are less impressive compared to the bread box and the appetizer. The lamb in my Mesquite Grilled Pomegranate Glazed Lamb Chops is perfectly cooked to crispy outside and juicy inside, and the samosas are sweet and yummy. But the salad at the bottom tastes off and a bit too sour. Hubby got Maple/Black Peppercorn Soaked Buffalo Tenderloin and felt it's overall okay. Nothing really worth mentioning.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
