Grossmont High School

This school is pretty fantastic. The kids have made great friends here and enjoy the teaching staff, counselors, and the principal.

My kids are testing well and ready to go to college... which is good, because that is why they went to high school in the first place.

Boy has this school gone down hill fast. There are a few good teachers left but honestly there is not enough support. We moved my youngest and she is already excelling in a short time. Oh! Just try calling the school! You will NEVER get a live person. You can try every extension and I bet 1 out of 10 may pick up. Just trying to get my daughter out of the school was a nightmare! No one helps! No one calls back! I swear I feel like I have ptsd from the experience!

Don't recommend this school /district Very disappointing with this school not enough support or help for there students that were/are struggling this past year. Don't get me wrong there a few great teachers and am grateful for them and I am sorry for this review to those few good teachers don't mean this towards you, but the actual district and administration obviously have not done enough for all the students that are failing and struggling badly and poor kids are feeling helpless and going into deeper depression as months go by and year almost over and still not much done to help these kids/students. So sad..for these readers I don't recommend this school .

We admittedly had a bit of trepidation when our children transitioned from a smaller campus to the bigger high school, but remarkably each of the three found their own space within the educational community. The school culture is strong, and allows many educators to do their jobs well.

The staff here never changed. I graduated from in this school back in 2009. Te staff were and still are rude to these days.
