Jerk Shop Go

The food was amazing, service fast and friendly. I will definitely go back. Very popular place during the lunch hour yet you get your food in a timely manner.I love that it's a black owned business. We need more.

Very happy to have stopped by Jerk Shop Go while in town. Our food was hot and fresh off the grill, and full of that multi spice jerk flavor and heat. We had the jerk melt, cheesesteak, eggroll, cheesy fries, sweet corn, and taco. Just embrace the spices!

Leslie was super welcoming and understanding in spite of working solo at the time on a hot day. We were recharged and walked over to the Lincoln Presidential Library and Old Capitol Building nearby. Highly recommend!

I just happened upon this place in search for a bakery, and WOW am I glad I did!! If you like spices and seasoning you will LOVE it here.

I ordered the Jerk Chicken Tips, Beef egg roll, and red beans and rice. Everything was so delicious but if you want to amp it up there is also an INCREDIBLE sauce at each table that is like putting everything into turbo mode. The portions are great and service is fast. My only complaint is that there isnt a location near me! If I am ever in Springfield again you can bet I am coming back here.

If you like jerk style cooking or just like food, this is a great stop. The jerk spices added depth of flavor to any meat selection - I had beef and chicken. It's good food with some unique options.

Picked up the "Pick 3" for carry out. My picks were the loaded nachos, egg roll, and chicken taco. Everything was tasty. The egg roll was a standout- it's crunchy and has the extra yummy punch of jerk. It was actually too much food for one person, but I think the leftovers will be yummy today.

The 2 guys working the counter were really nice and got my order put together quickly. It's relatively small inside- but it looked cozy. They have a small selection of bottled beer and White Claw.

Definitely a great lunch stop.

The new location offers seating, a larger and more diverse menu and more drink options. The most recent visit was on lunch when I had the jerk chicken tacos. My friends had the jerk chicken salad and jerk beef tacos.

I brought my spouse in because she likes it spicy and loves jerk and beer. I knew with this one, I couldn't go wrong so we came in tonight. We tried lots of things including the jerk chicken quesadilla, the jerk shrimp and chicken tacos and two more chicken tacos.

The egg rolls and the quesadilla came with sauces. We liked the egg roll sauce better than the bbq sauce that came with the quesadilla and fries. Oh yeah, I forgot about the fries. They were savory but not salty. So the verdict for me is still out. They didn't even have salt in the store to put on the fries. I like mine hot and salty...but the were hot, crispy and savory. If I had to voy on my favorite item ...the jerk chicken tacos have it for the big win!!! The jerk seasoning with the fresh cilantro and whatever else they put on there is absolutely delicious. Not that the quesadilla and the egg rolls weren't good...everything really was very tasty. But my second favorite item was the chicken egg roll...spicy savory and deep fried in a crunchy shell. Somebody slam my momma, it was that good.

Sorry Mom. Love you but then egg rolls for were tasty good.

1st time and I will definitely be back. I was promptly greeted by Leslie, who assisted me with finding the exact thing to satisfy my appetite. I ended up with the jerk quesadilla and fries with cheese sauce on the side. It was the BEST quesadilla I've ever had. Every bite was flavorful. I'm also a cheese sauce snob and this was great as well, bold, zesty flavor! The red sauce on the table was wonderful as well, delcious and not stoo spicy and I love spicy and handle heat but I thought this sauce was perfect. It was more on the sweet side and oh so yummy. Our food came out quick and hot and fresh. Can't wait to go back and take my hubby! Worth the drive from Peoria, IL!!!!

The shrimp tacos were SO INCREDIBLY GOOD! My mom also loved the beef tacos. The bowl was a little too spicy for me but still great nevertheless.

Oh yeah the fries. They have a special sauce that's so good with the fries that make you not want to go back to ketchup!

Overall a must visit!

First time trying Jerk chicken and the quesadilla didn't disappoint! I loved the creamy sauce it came with to dip in and the Jerk Egg Roll was a fun twist. My boyfriend got the Tacos one of each meat and I think I prefer the beef although both are great! Service was quick and there are plenty of places to eat inside.

The food pumping out of here is amazing, only knock for me is the ambiance; music was a bit too loud. I also believe they were having an issue with the A/C but it happens now and again.

The service was bit all over the place, however the three young employees were all extremely friendly!

I could eat the jerk tacos for days on end and the red beans and rice were perfect! Would easily return for another bite!!

Great local spot offering a variety of options and rapid service. I called Jerk Shop Go and wanted to try a variety of options so luckily they had the "famous pick 3". For my main I had the jerk Philly chicken sandwich and my two side choices were the shrimp eggroll and cheese fry. My order was complete upon concluding my walk to restaurant and everything was still hot and fresh upon getting to my hotel. When you enter the building the food smells amazing and there's excellent music playing. Portion wise I was extremely hungry and barely finished my food so this is a good portion option. Everything was seasoned to perfection and delicious. My only feedback would be I would love to try their jerk sauce and get some off that on the Philly chicken to add extra flavor, although it doesn't need it I just like sauces. I will be back and want to try some other options too.

The food is great! The service is excellent! Very professional. Perfect ambiance, nice vibe. I even got some work done on my laptop. Currently I'm hooked on the jerk philly lol.
