I attended high school here and looking back on it the people who attend La Cueva High School are not the best. The majority of the people are not good people as I was constantly bullied and people used me. I discussed the bullying problem to the La Cueva Administration with very little success. The bullying continued until all of Albuquerque Public Schools was forced to go online due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

I realized people were using me when I transferred and looking back, I did not enjoy freshman year of high school. There are some people who are very nice and I still maintain close contact today. The teachers are veery good at their job.

If the La Cueva administration were to begin to adress the bullying in a way that decreases the bullying that persists, I might rate the school higher.

It's meh. What makes this high school not a one star is the amazing teachers and other activities they have to offer such as robotics. However, what makes this not a five star is the other students there. I went to La Cueva as a freshman in 2019 and they did acknowledge the bullying but my main problem is nothing really was told. I went 3 times and they did do something unlike Desert Ridge but it was not enough as all times were just a slap on the wrist. But it took some time and it did the job. I eventually had to go to NMAA to get something done which they did.

As a freshman going to La Cueva, the school is much better than Desert Ridge, they care about bullying here. On the first day of school, there is a big welcome banner welcoming you. The classes are very exciting here. With homecoming week coming up soon, I can't wait to see what's in store!
