Historic village with preserved log cabins where you can learn about Lincoln's early life and the life of his fellow towns people.
There is a nice modern visitors center and a outdoor theater where plays are presented in the summer months
It's a easy drive from downtown Springfield

Stephanie D.Indianapolis, IN249272139Nov 15, 2016It's a Historic Site! How could it not get 5 stars? Granted I came here to run a trail half marathon, but it is a gorgeous park with many trails. Trails range from beginning to advanced and the mountain bike loop is cool (I ran it). I definitely recommend the historic village. It seemed really neat as I zoomed past it.
I would love to come back here and spend more time exploring. I love state parks and historic sites, and since this one has Abe Lincoln history, you bet it's pretty awesome!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
