    • Q:

Do they use peanut oil for fries or other fried food?

      A:

My husband has a severe peanut allergy and I hadn't heard that they do. Always inquire to the cooks before consuming of course as menu items and ingredients do change.

The food is pretty good and the prices are just a little higher than one would expect but the 5 star service from Bre more than makes up for it. Outstanding personality, fun and engaging. I will be back and my fingers are crossed Bre is working!

I was in the area and decided to stop by after reading such great reviews on Yelp. It's late on Friday and they're open until midnight so it was perfect!

I only wanted to eat but everyone had tables full of drinks. That's a great sign of either moderately priced or the bartender is dope...or maybe both. Lol

I knew I wanted a sandwich and decided to give the salmon BLAT a try. It came out quick and paired with seasoned fries. The bread was toasted and soft to the touch. The avocados and fixings were just the right amount. Nothing was overly done. It was really a good burger.

And although I lucked upon this place I will be back. The waitress shared that Wednesday nights are $9 burgers! Oh yeah!!!

Maggie's is probably the busiest place on Magnolia. The crowd is mostly younger, but I go in every now and then because the food is some of the better on the street, and the prices are pretty reasonable.

I don't usually go here to just grab drinks. I go to grab some food and something to drink. They have a good draft beer selection and also good pricing. One of my favorite items on the menu are the smoked wing appetizers. The Thai Chili flavor is pretty good, slight heat to it. My only complaint about them is sometimes they are over smoked and can be a little charred on the edges. But you get ten wings for about $13 and they're pretty damn good. The fries appear to be fresh cut, and are always good. I've had a few of the entrees, CFS, smothered fries, and all of them are good, and worth the money.

They have two bars, one outside and the other inside, with an outside patio in between. I really like the inside bar, but they tend to shut it down in the evening, I guess maybe when they start cutting staff? Then it appears they move that bartender to help the outside bar. I wish they would keep the inside bar open longer because it's away from the loud chaos on the patio (get off my lawn!) including when they have some woozy acoustic duo, or single, or one man band instrument machine out there droning along. If you love that stuff, I'm happy for you, but I'm honestly not.

Other than that, I'm happy with the place. If I'm forced to sit at the outside bar I just kind of grin and bear it. Just gotta maneuver the millennial minefield sometimes.

Their price points are 5 stars alone! I got a full chicken salad for $12... where else do they do that at?

My chicken salad was delicious and fresh! Service was very attentive and helpful. Now... the fact that it is an outside only venue is rough for these Texas summer days lol. BUT a nice 70/80 degree day is perfect! I will be back to try their Happy Hour and cocktails

We have never been to this place si when it popped up when I did a quick search for patios I knew we had to try it because we love the Magnolia St vibe.

The hostess stand was under the awning and we came in from the street but one of the wait staff was kind enough to help us. Although it was hot we were seating near one of the many fans in the shade.

The menu is easy to read with lots of options and although it was not recommended (our waitress does not like cauliflower) we will be returning to try the buffalo cauliflower.

The nachos are large but quit refreshing in the heat and tye fried pickles were excellent.

I loved the Ginifer Aniston and hubs enjoyed the cider which had a summery purple hue.

Not long after arriving a musician began to play which was very nice.

Service was great. We are adding to our list as it seemed to appeal to all age groups.

This place is cute, we came.here for lunch in a Sunday. I love the vibe and the fact you can sit inside or outside. I saw they have live music to. I wasn't super hungry so I had the chicken wings that were good, my husband really enjoyed he's meal and our drinks were good too. I would come back

Came here after an event at Dickies Arena and was very pleasantly surprised!

We lucked out and found street parking up front. It was a little after 9pm on a Friday night and the place was packed but we didn't have to wait for a table. The majority of tables are outside but since it was so late at night it was perfect because it wasn't too hot. There was also live music!

I had the superfood salad which was very good and filling. All the ingredients were super fresh and our food came out very quickly. I also tried the Mexican candy rita cocktail. I'm pretty picky with my drinks but enjoyed it!

Overall a really great experience! Great food, great drinks, great service, and great atmosphere!

Feels like the kitchen staff hates making food, the Tequila Lime Chicken was very dry and the Philly was on sliced bread, never seen that before. Cool place to hang but the food could use a lot of work.

Rustic, friendly and welcoming! Parking was unique. Ambiance was very homie, laidback.
Now the food was definitely lacking! The hibiscus margarita was not good at all. Nashville hot chicken was not hot or had any Nashville flare, should be called original crispy chicken sandwich and the fries were cold for the sandwich. The chicken tacos were on point tho! very moist and packed full of flavor( basically why this review is three stars). Lastly I believe this spot is for bar hoppers that has some alcohol in their system to suppress their taste buds which allows for them to rate this establishment 4.4/4.5 stars. Overall worth exploring as an option.

So many choices to pick from on Magnolia. I was looking for something easy to pick up and tasty since I was taking it to the hospital to eat.

I called in the order and they were so nice on the phone. Found a parking spot pretty easy for 5pm in a Monday. The patio was already full though since it was nice outside. Definitely want to come back and enjoy their really nice patio seating. The aroma inside was a good hint of what it was going to taste like. Have to add that the ladies at the bar are so nice and have great customer service!

I ordered the chipotle steak sandwich and substituted the street corn as a side. Then the second order was the crispy chicken tenders with fries. For dessert I couldn't pass up the churros.

Took our dinner to Baylor hospital and it was still hot when we busted open those containers. My son loved his steak sandwich and the corn. The chicken tenders truly were crispy. That crunch on every bite tastes so good! Some of the best chicken tenders I've ever had. Even the fries were crispy and perfectly seasoned!

We topped it off with the churros that were awesome! They gave us caramel and chocolate sauce to dip in. Truly amazing!!

      Our new favorite spot!
