A wonderful experience, not just great food. The soufflé are fabulous of course, but the soups, salads and cheese boards add to the joy.
We tried some specialty cocktails, but not forme. I'm a beer girl, so no surprise there.
We went for my birthday and are coming again this year. It's a bit of a drive for us, but I consider it a worthwhile destination restaurant.

I hosted a Bridal Luncheon at rise no.3 last weekend, and it was spectacular! Elissa and her entire team did an excellent job. The room we reserved was beautiful, the service team was helpful and attentive - always there when we needed something but not overdoing it, and the food was fantastic as always. Many thanks to the rise no.3 team for helping my guests have a magical time.

The service was excellent, attentive but not intrusive. The ambiance almost convinced me I was in Paris. Great food, light but surprisingly filling. A terrific spot for date night.

Delish food & atmosphere is incredible! Staff so polite & helpful. Will definitely be back - it's far from my house but worth the drive for special occasions.

Recommend this place for a girls night or cute event.

We went during restaurant week; and honestly, probably one of the best restaurant week menus I've seen.

Highly recommend the marshmallow soup. The goat cheese marshmallows are amazing. (Not this time, but once before...I had the escargot. It was so good, and so is the cauliflower soufflé)

The dessert soufflés were "ok" but still pretty eggy, so I recommend the creme brûlée.

I was so excited to finally try Rise. We went with two other couples during DFW Restaurant (which is really a month long).
I love artichoke and crab, so I knew well before going what I was going to have.
We all got the complimentary wine first course. They serve their wine in small glasses, like juice glasses. There was a pizza place in Baton Rouge that did that years ago. I hope they still do. When I go back home my brother serves his wine like that. I like it, even though I have learned to love wine in a big wine glass with a very thin "lip", it's "home-y" feeling.
The bread service is amazing. I wish I had gotten a picture. It's served on a chopping board with a built in knife to slice your bread. It's like a guillotine for your bread. And, the bread is divine!
I grew up eating boiled artichokes, which we dipped in mayo. The Artichoke Andee at Rise has the sauce (not mayo) in the middle. I had read reviews where it was stated that the artichoke was undercooked. I will have to agree, the artichoke should have been cooked longer and I would prefer the dipping sauce on the side.
Next was what I had really been waiting for: the crabmeat soufflé! Well...I would have liked crabmeat. I tasted crab, but it was too puréed. I had seen photos online and you can actually see chunks of crabmeat, but mine did not have those delicious chunks.
Four of my friends got the ham & cheese soufflé. They liked it. Another got the escargot soufflé, which looks huge, but it is not as big as it looks, since the dish is portioned for the escargot, similar to how your would have them served not in a soufflé. Nice presentation.
I got the chocolate soufflé. It seemed like a classic and the thing to do. It was good, but I didn't eat it all since it got soggy.
My husband was the only one that got the Creme Brulee, and it was the best dessert.
It has been a while since I have had soufflé and in my memory I liked it, but I don't think it is for me anymore.
I would go back and get dishes other than soufflé and definitely the Creme Brulee!
The restaurant is adorable. I love all the decor and the little shop and the staff is very friendly and pleasant. I also loved the little area it used to in. I had never been there and can't wait to go back. It's like a smaller Legacy West.

Rise Soufflé offers a dining experience that's as unique as it is delightful, and it's certainly a spot worth visiting if you're in the mood for something out of the ordinary. I recently dined there with friends, and it was clear from the moment we walked in that this wasn't your average restaurant. The ambiance is inviting, and the menu is a refreshing departure from the norm, focusing almost entirely on the delicate art of the soufflé.

We decided to dive into a variety of both sweet and savory options, starting with the raspberry soufflé. While it had a lovely lightness, it felt like it was missing a certain depth of flavor--perhaps a hint of tartness or a more robust raspberry essence could have elevated it. Still, it was enjoyable, just not as memorable as some of the others.

The escargot soufflé, on the other hand, was an interesting twist. The escargot itself was well-prepared, with that classic, earthy flavor shining through. However, the soufflé base didn't quite match up, lacking the richness and texture that could have made this dish truly exceptional. It was a good attempt, but not a standout.

Where Rise really impressed was with their blue crab and pecan soufflé. This dish was a delightful surprise, with the sweet and savory elements balancing beautifully. The blue crab was fresh and flavorful, and the addition of pecans added a satisfying crunch that took the dish to another level. It's the kind of creative pairing that makes you appreciate the thought that goes into the menu here.

The pumpkin soufflé was another highlight--perfectly spiced and capturing the essence of the season. It was light, airy, and full of flavor, a comforting yet refined dish that left everyone at the table wanting more.

Overall, Rise Soufflé is a fun spot for those looking to try something different. While not every dish was a home run, the creativity and execution of most of the menu make it well worth a visit. It's a place where the experience itself is as important as the food, and for that, it earns a solid 4 out of 5.

Definitely a spot to keep in mind for a unique culinary adventure.

Rise is above it all. The moment you stand to the entrance you know you are about to have an experience. Upon waking in the ambiance removes you from the Texas heat and transform you to Rise. The music gives you that European vibe and greets you to the food journey you are about to take.
Each table is set to immaculate precision...with antiqued shakers and glass stem flutes. The napkins are finished in an "Anthropologie" vibe for those who know...you know. I decided on the three course menu option. I started off with the Marshmallow Soup. It's one of the best tomato soups I have ever had garnished to perfection with a splash of pesto. The second course was the Jambon & Gruyère soufflé. This is my first soufflé and as a first timer I was floored. The Jambon combined with Gruyère within the soufflé was perfection. For dessert (third course) I choose the seasonal soufflé key lime soufflé for desert. I enjoyed the subtle sweetness and fresh citrus flavor within. If you are in Fort Worth and close to Clearfork I highly recommend stopping by Rise. Especially with a companion or group as it would be a great way to try multiple items. One key factor the staff was all beyond friendly knowledgeable and welcoming. I did pass on the complimentary bread but recommend to get as you are greeted with an artisan bread and unique bread cutter.

Caught wind of Rise from a foodie friend up in DFW. Tried to go last visit but got out voted for sushi. This time it was just the GF and I (besties arrived the next day) so I headed straight for the FW location to check it out. Because, this country bumpkin has never had a souffle.

We arrived during happy hour so my favorite Kronenbourg to start. Some freebies made it to the table. My first fig that didn't come from a "newton". A thumbnail of brie, some toasted bread, and the tiny pickles I don't usually care for and can't pronounce.

GF's plate was a little different with slices of hard boiled egg, toasted bread, and a smoked salmon mousse. This silky fish dip was the best bites of the complimentary offerings. She even liked it which is rare because she is one of the pickiest fish peeps ever.

I think she played her souffle game safe with the mac and cheese version. Find the posted pic where she is literally staring at it before she takes her first scoop. I opted for the escargot version which in retrospect I would have just taken the escargot on it's own.

Best bites for the experience was the Rise salad which we shared. Here's my thoughts; the menu is too focused on souffle. Yes, crazy James F. from small town Texas wished for a more rounded French menu. I liked Rise for it's prowess but wish it had all the Julia Child cookbooks.

Honestly- I feel in love with Rise no1 ages ago, and so when they opened in Ft Worth I was so excited. That said, this location has had a rocky time. The last time we were there it's was terrible and tonight it was great! From our charming waitress to the perfectly cooked soufflé- everything was spot on. My point is , while we still go to the Dallas location, and have never had a bad experience, the Fort Worth location lack that consistency.
