Hmm what to say about Se7en Bites. I was so excited to go here as it was hyped up by many people and also featured on a Food Network show.
We went on a Thursday afternoon so it was not busy at all and we parked and walked right it. There were 3 members in our party and one of us had coffee while the rest asked for cups of water (which they keep the water and soda guarded by employees so you have to get up and ask them for more). The coffee was cold so I went up and asked for a fresh pour and they said that the creamer and cold syrup was cooling it, which was not the case they just weren't keeping the coffee fresh.
So we sat down at a table and put our provided number stand on the table. The scenery is very farmhouse and open. After being seated for quite a while (30+ minutes) we noticed our food still had not come out even though people had walked in and got their food after 10-15 minutes. We ended up waiting about an hour for our food which there was no excuse for as they chose to serve others faster who had more involved dishes while ours was basic (pulled pork sandwich, biscuits and gravy and the one pictured). Maybe they were mad cause I said the coffee was cold or they preferred serving others rather than the patient waiters.
Now when the food arrived it was decent, but nothing special for the wait we underwent and the price. I can go to Waffle House and get bacon with biscuits and gravy just as good for half the cost.
Maybe it was a bad day for them, even when they had like 20 employees standing around not doing anything in and out of the kitchen, but I don't think we will be back.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 3 - Sean M.Jacksonville, FL286702409Jul 29, 20241 check-in
My wife heard about this place from her coworker in Jacksonville and that it was worth trying. We both agreed that it was after eating there. Delicious food, good portions and a good price point too. The service was excellent, and the staff were super friendly too.
My only issue was the place was so darned loud! They had music playing and then coupled with the crowd (we got there just as they were opening) and it filled up and became super uncomfortable. I had to almost shout to talk to my wife.
If I lived in the area, I'd absolutely eat here again. But I'd 100% choose takeout.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Business owner information

I can't say I would return and that's unfortunate.
As soon as you walk in, you're right at the ordering stand. There are menus on the wall to review, but they're not detailed like the menus at the register, so you'll need to go to the register to see a menu. If you need time, you'll have to step aside, then get back in line, if you don't want to hold up the line. It's not an intuitive process at all.
My order:
3 Little Pigs & Fried Green Tomatoes
I didn't realize everything on the 3 Little Pigs would be in a pile on top of the biscuit. I thought the grits would be on the side. I received my order and it was cold. I absolutely hate sending back food, but cold grits is an absolute no. So I send it back and they give me a fresh one that's hot, without issue. The flavors were pretty overwhelming and had a lot going on, which says a lot coming from me.
The friend green tomatoes needed salt AND they didn't come with any sauce. When I asked about sauce/vinegar, I was presented with a menu of sauces I could purchase for $1+. Huh? They didn't even have malt vinegar to offer. It was odd and it turned me off.
The owner however is the jewel of this establishment, she came to our table and was super friendly. She had on the nicest leather apron (I need one) and chatted with my mom and I.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Jul 23, 20241 check-in
This place has been on my list for such a long time and what a disappointment it turned out to be.
Multiple tables (even larger groups) got their food before my group of three, even though we had been there twice the amount of time they had.
I wonder if they were upset because I asked for HOT coffee instead of the lukewarm brew that they're had in their thermos. Their answer was no. Asked if they could heat it in the microwave. They claimed not to have one. How do you not have a microwave in a full service kitchen?
They also had a salty group of four barricading the drink machine. I understand people ask for water and then get soda, but the blockade is just weird.
I ordered the Cheezy-Q. The BBQ sauce was okay, but the meat was dry. There was absolutely no flavor OR cheese to be found in the mac and cheese. The best part of the sandwich was the crispy onions and I don't know that I can give much credit for that because I mean, it's fried onions.
I should have realized this place was questionable, but I didn't really look at the website and menu until we were already there. So many disclaimers about prices and up charges it doesn't even make sense.
Don't believe the hype.Helpful 3Thanks 3Love this 3Oh no 2 - Jul 31, 20241 check-in
We absolutely love coming here for breakfast when in the Orlando area . Depending on the time that you arrive. Don't be shocked to see a line already formed and having to wait. But trust me the line is worth the wait. There's some pretty amazing chicken and waffle dishes, along with the bakery or bake good section inside. There's so many sweets to choose from all made in house and the breakfast Menu items are just so good. This place has also been visited by Guy Fieri and featured on diners, drive ins and dives.

I was one of those people who had their airline flight cancelled due to the massive outage. Thankfully, Se7en Bites saved the day and significantly brightened my mood!!
My friend took me here years ago and ever since then, I always try to come whenever I'm in town.
I ordered the signature chicken biscuit and the combo of biscuit, crispy chicken, and sweet jam was perfect! Definitely a fork and knife type meal with the jam oozing out in each bite.
But my all time favorite is the hash browns with pimento cheese!!! Soooo yummy!!
I arrived about 30 minutes to closing and while the staff were starting to clean up, they did not rush me in any way. Everyone was super friendly and the atmosphere was great. They even had signs on each table saying they were sanitized. Appreciate the extra effort to show cleanliness!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Business owner information

This breakfast and lunch restaurant located in Orlando is quite popular. This southern place also has a bakery inside. We waited outside in line for about 20 minutes. Once inside you place your order at the counter and sit at picnic style tables. I had the Veggie Morning Biscuit $9.25 with an extra egg $1.75 and coffee $3.75. It was fine. The biscuit was too dry and crumbly for a sandwich and it should be on a plate. The guy host outside was very nice along with the staff.

I came here with family after landing at the airport. I was told that people come here for the biscuits...so a biscuit is what I got!
It consisted of a buttermilk garlic biscuit, over medium egg, crispy green tomato, applewood smoked bacon, topped with peppercorn hollandaise. It was very good! It could have used a slash of some hot sauce- I didn't ask for it but I definitely will next time as I would absolutely return and try something else. It also came with a side of grits that was also yummy.
Service was great. You wait outside first, and then you go in. We didn't wait long at all...about 5 minutes. You order at the counter and then your food is brought out to wherever you are sitting.
There are so many biscuit options and their lunch offerings also sound very good!
Breakfast is also available all day.Helpful 7Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Jul 7, 20241 check-in
Wow wow wow!! This was the tastiest breakfast ever!! Everything was absolutely phenomenal!!! We tried the southern biscuit, the BS biscuit with country fried steak, the signature biscuits, and the quiche of the day. Everything was incredible. The cheddar chive grits are a MUST!! The pepper jam cream cheese was also delicious. This place is a must for breakfast/ brunch in Orlando! We got really lucky with a short line and it went by super quick. You wait in line, order at the front and wait at a table. The service was quick, given how busy it was. There is also a bakery that was so incredible!! We loved the atmosphere and funny signs on the walls. Absolutely no complaints and we will definitely be back to visit!!!
