Esthetically, the beauty of the shop sets a high standard by being the most inviting and enjoyable among other local shops of its kind. I look forward, with great pleasure, to shopping at The Farm.

It's garden is wonderful and the reception barn is amazing, I just warn any one interested in having a wedding here that some things that are promised are not followed through on without complaint. We were promised that garbage would be taken care of through the night and none was ever moved. We were also promised that our wedding guests would be guided to a parking lot by someone and there was no one in sight. We also had to end our reception earlier than we would have liked due to neighbor placation to avoid noise disturbances.

Chris - thanks for your review. Just so you are aware, parking guidance was being provided at the front of the property, so folks found their way. We take care of trash removal the next morning. And we were surprised to find the party over at 10:30, as your contract was until 11:00. There were no complaints about the sound level by anyone. Thanks again for letting us be part of your big day!

Do you love antiques...gardening...unique gifts....beautiful gardens...this place has it all. The drive to find The Farm is down a long country gravel road that's much easier to find now that they have signage in place.
Today we visited the greenhouse and was able to buy lily of the valley plants for my mother. My mother also bought a beautiful apron and is contemplating buying a bird feeder and a quilt. I want to special order some very cute curtains they had on display.
The sisters that run the place are always friendly and very helpful. They let you wander the shop and gardens until you're ready to ask any questions.
Children are also happy with a visit to The Farm...they have chickens and two beautiful work horses...this place is a jewel in Central Illinois.
