Hi Ashley! Outside on the patio we have fans/misters/heaters that are utilized at various points in the year. This winter there are 9 Bromic heaters that are evenly distributed on the patio.

Uchi in Dallas is the sushi spot dreams are made of. From the moment I walked in, it was clear this place is special. The ambiance was elegant yet welcoming, setting the stage for an unforgettable dining experience.

The sushi? Absolutely phenomenal. Every bite was a symphony of fresh flavors and perfect textures. The chef's creativity shines through in each dish, making it hard to pick a favorite. The service was equally impressive--attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly.

If you're looking for top-notch sushi in Dallas, Uchi is the place to go. Everything was so good, I can't wait to go back!

I've always heard good things, but now that I've experienced it myself I can say without a doubt that the team at Uchi has mastered the art of hospitality. From the moment we pulled up at valet, the experience was top notch. Every single staff member we spoke with was so kind and helpful and had such great energy. They actually read the reservation notes so each person from the host stand to our server, chef, and even bussers told my best friend happy birthday when they came by our seats.

The food was everything we wanted it to be and more. We were given a complimentary palate cleanser to start which was a passion fruit coconut sorbet situation (pictured) and it was fantastic. I would buy it by the pint if they ever decided to sell it. The cocktails are great too - we tried the lychee martini, the Uchi 75, and the ichigo, but the Uchi 75 was our fave of the 3.

We decided to go with the happy hour omakase which at $80 a person is an absolute STEAL. It features 8 courses but we were given 2 complimentary courses due to the birthday celebration - one of which was the foie gras nigiri and was absolutely mind blowing. The picture of the dish with the green sauce is the lobster with green curry and it took every bit of self restraint not to lick the bowl clean. For dessert we had the fried milk and it was an out of body experience. I seriously almost cried. The flavor, all the textures and temperatures...how do you make a tuile taste so good?! Omg. If you aren't a sushi person, go and have some cocktails and order this...it's perfect.

Uchi is a must visit when it comes to upscale fine dining. They've mastered the art of fresh caught flavors mixed with various elements that truly make each plate shine. The service is absolutely incredible. Very professional and knowledgeable staff that clearly present each dish with full details as well as the proper way to consume each dish for maximum enjoyability. Even the complimentary valet service up front took great care of our car and arrived in a timely manner. The place is decorated beautifully and has such an inviting and buzzing ambiance.

Some of my recommended highlight that we ordered were the Hama chili, Walu Walu, Unagi, Gyutoro, Akami Te, scallop nigiri, and the fried milk dessert.

The final bill came out to about as much as a Costco trip but you should definitely celebrate a special milestone occasion here or try their happy hour if you can get a seat.

I would say this place beats Nobu in most facets with their service as well as innovative flavors.

10/10 experience. Our server was incredible!! We chose to do the server leg omakase and it was delicious. He listened to what we wanted, delivered, and even surprised us with some things we weren't expecting to like. The dishes were sooo delicious and I haven't been able to stop thinking about some of them. Definitely will be coming back.

Uchi Dallas is my most favorite upscale Japanese restaurant and the only one with a 6 course Vegeterian tasting menu!
I always felt I could not understand sushi and other Japanese cuisine because I don't eat meat... but this one restaurant really elevated the dining experience and made it all worth it!
The tasting menu is priced at $120 for two people - it's pricey buy very well worth it! It was my birthday dinner with my family and k always have an amazing time here
The ambience is super classy and with valet parking, it's an all round win!

Our experience at Uchi is one of my top meals to date.

We visited Dallas with a group of friends for our anniversary and since several of our local friends recommended Uchi, we decided to give it a shot.

There were 8 of us total, and we all decided to do the chef's tasting menu. A lot of the items were items I wouldn't have picked for myself, but every single one of them were phenomenal!

You could tell how meticulously the chef worked on each dish to curate a truly unique experience for us.

Every dish was flavorful, fresh, and unlike anything I had tried before. The dishes were satisfying, yet light.

Every single person at the table finished every last dish. Even though we didn't leave hungry, we left content & not so full that we were miserable. It was the perfect amount of food!

I could not recommend Uchi enough! I cannot wait for our next experience there!

Words can't describe the delicious sushi we received. Took my fiancée for our 4 year anniversary. The waiter was so kind and respectful, the sushi chef was awesome and provided us recommendations on the menu that day. I can't thank Uchi enough as that day. No doubt in my mind that this is the best sushi in Dallas.

I had an amazing meal here on a recent Friday night. Make reservations, I made mine a couple weeks in advance and still ran into limitations.
We sat outside and I loved the setting.
We tried a bit of everything and wasn't disappointed, we mostly went with recommendations but the meals were well flavored with very fresh fish - this isn't a place that will have soy sauce on the table as the fish and fresh flavors are all you need.
Only issue was pace of meal...it took nearly 2 hours for all of our food to arrive (plates were spread out but there was a major lag at the end).
Our waitress was super friendly and I appreciate her awareness of the delay by providing free dessert. Highly recommend fried milk!

Absolutely my favorite sushi restaurant in Dallas. We went for my birthday, and the staff signed a birthday card for me! It's such a nice touch to an already perfect evening.

We went during happy hour and ordered one of everything. They have a rotating menu, and here were some of our highlights:

Salmon, tuna, ocean bass nigiri: the raw fish tasted so fresh and each had their own unique vinaigrette or marinade. The flavors really worked well together while highlighting the fish.

Machi coco: the yuzu coconut was a delicious pairing to the fish!

Ribeye: the pho jus was an amazing addition to the meat, and I was craving another bite!

Hot rock: one of my favorites! It was so fun to cook the meat on the, well, hot rock.

For dessert, we got the warm banana cake and fried milk. Both were so delicious and the perfect end to the meal!

The staff were so inviting and really thoughtful in making our experience a memorable one. I cannot recommend Uchi enough!

We made a reservation ahead of time for our anniversary!

We've heard really good things about Uchi and wanted to come here and check it out ourselves.

We opted for the omakase (10-course meal). For about $167 per person (Feb 2024).

The service was great, and the ambiance was spectacular!

Everything tasted really well curated, and the plating of each dish was an art in itself. The quality of the fish is unmatched!

I was really impressed with every single dish we tried.
