The other day I was in Simply Southern and I had this amazing worker named Hannah. She helped me out with all my questions and helped me find every item I was looking for so I just had to get her name since she was so good at her job. I've also had a worker named Natalie and she is very friendly and helpful as well. Two of the best workers I've met, definitely will be coming back!

A smaller mall in Springfield, it has all the necessary shops you would expect from the mall. What it really seems to be lacking in is a decent food court. Lots of kids in the mall, but then again it was winter and not a lot to do in the area it would seem. I can tell you that the staff at the mall do a great job of keeping the place tidy and while I was at the mall a very nice gentleman made sure I was comfortable (a friendly smile and hello... what else do you need?) and even took my tray when I was done. If you are looking for a place with the basics, this is it. If you want to eat, go somewhere else.

Received a $250 parking ticket for parking in a handicapped space that was not even a handicapped spot! Went to the mall management and they said there was nothing they could do, need to contest with the city. Went to court and there were 3 other people there with the same issue!!! Of course the city held up all of our fines even though we had pictures proving we were not in the handicapped spot....
I will do my shopping online and watch the mall continue to crumble from lack of business due to unfair practices and their active cooperation with the city on corruptly handing out parking citations.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Ryleigh ..Springfield, IL024Oct 29, 2017
The mall is a fun place to go to but I was kind of upset at the Clair's store because the salesperson said that it was three for the price of one so we got six items for the "price of two" that was a lie we had to pay $39.67

White oaks needs more stores. In the last two-three Years I feel like the mall has gone down hill. I used to always shop at there. Now I find myself going to small boutiques. Many stores have left the mall not sure why..

This is a nice mall overall.
During our visits to the area over the years, it had always appeared that this mall was on its way out, but we were surprised during this visit.
The interior seems to have been renovated at some time and feels more inviting. There were a large number of stores between the two floors which were a welcome sight (compared to so many malls that have a lot of empty spaces).
The food mall has very few choices and it looked like this area actually decreased in size. The food was fine, but nothing spectacular.
There is a nice children's play area with a few things for the kids to play on. It's kind of small, so I imagine that it is overflowing come winter.
Mall security was prevalent and visible, which made us feel secure as we wandered around.
Overall, it's a nice mall to wile away time when you have nothing else to do.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Ashley S.Chicago, IL11844Nov 15, 2016
This is not a review on the mall, but wanted to inform others that aren't local that the Victoria's Secret store IS NOT an outlet store. It kept popping up that it was when I was looking for things to do.

It never fails! Every time we go to the mall my kid has to get on this. It's never crowded. The "gatekeeper" is always friendly. The ride is a nice amount of time. You are not rushed to get off. Even my husband and I enjoy riding with our child. Oh plus you can sign your child up for birthday special. We received a certificate in the mail allowing for my kid and 6 of her friends one free ride the month of her birthday! That was pretty cool.

Whoa...renovation?!
Excellent. The pink and light green tiled floors are gone, the weird lighting is gone. It's a more comforting, welcome beckoning of light and sound now.
Selection of stores= some hits and some misses. If you're looking for pets, they're no longer here. If you're looking for some awesome pet food and treats, they're here! If you're looking for tea, there's a great shop here with loose leaf teas.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
