Welcome to JOE’s post team as an offline editor Keegan Hall (@Steegs_ ), a content creator from Cape Town who has amassed over 2.5 million followers across his personal social platforms - yes 2,5 million 🚀. He started creating content on YouTube 6 years ago and has worked with various big brands such as Ford, Monster Energy and various others. He is a certified thrill seeker with a pengent for Extreme Sports and is also a really funny guy! No seriously, go check out some of his comedy skits on TikTok, with some amassing over 80 million views! Keegan credits his love for Social Media and Content Creation for teaching him the true essence of patience and perseverance, both qualities needed to make it in his new role at JOE. He claims that after spending many years doing whatever odd job he could to keep the social media dream alive, it was the day he turned 25 that he realised that most of his dreams had become a reality. He felt he needed more and confessed to shifting his content style slightly in order to take the opportunity to learn to tell better stories and live a more fulfilling life while doing so. He has always admired Dan and said that the only job that would take him away from his freelancing gigs would be if he had the opportunity to work with our creative head honcho, Dan Mace. He realised that working by yourself will get you where you need to be fairly quickly but working with a great team will get you so much further. Keegan is beyond stoked to be a part of the JOE Team and we are super excited to welcome his creative mind into the fold. Meet Luke Rose, another new addition to the JOE team! It’s crazy to think JOE Was just a team of two, three years ago and is now a team of 15 brilliant and well celebrated minds in the creative world. We are so grateful to be able to hire such experienced young talent! Luke is our new HOD for Brand Development, from concept to design and execution. He handles this area with great passion and precision, crafting compelling brand stories that speak volumes. Emerging from two of the best advertising schools in South Africa. Luke is an exceptional designer and marketing wiz. He is committed to producing compelling designs and developing engaging brand stories. Meet our latest addition to JOE’s Post Production and Camera departments as an Editor and Videographer, Amine Harboul, a Moroccan-born filmmaker with multiple international awards in the bank stretching from the US, UK, Spain and China. Beyond all of his achievements in Film he also studied in Spain for 4 years and got his Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Media. He describes himself as ‘All over the place, haha’. However he now has a new home at JOE. We could write all the generic stuff like he is creative, ambitious, and a motivated young filmmaker, passionate about purposeful storytelling, interested in finding new ways of exploring the boundaries, relationships and complexity of human nature, but at the end of the day he is nothing short of a F*cking exceptional filmmaker! It was his short film, ‘ZAMBEZIA: A Well For Change’, he made, that caught our attention. He has also directed multiple commercials, music videos and short films, but has found that he prefers the run-and-gun style of filmmaking while focusing on *Story First - always (over his traditional experience). Before starting with JOE he said: "I have a dream of making purposeful films for the rest of my life, and by working with Dan at JOE, I know I can elevate my filmmaking to the next level." Meet Londi, the newest addition to our ever growing JOE Team! With her extreme (and sometimes slightly annoying, haha) attention to detail, organizational skills, communicative talents and strong desire to establish new innovative systems which streamline the ‘Production Line’, she makes for the perfect new addition as Production Manager at JOE. In just a few weeks, she has stepped up to the plate and helped orchestrate our biggest Job to date! But her journey in the film industry didn’t start here… she has been freelancing since 2014, assisting in every department and this year marks her 10th year in Production, moving her way up the ranks from Production Intern, to Coordinator to PM in no time! She has worked on countless music videos, commercials, features and telenovelas around Durban, Johannesburg and now Cape Town. She can’t imagine doing anything else, and is a self proclaimed ‘Production Assassin’! But notes that even though dysfunction freaks her out, she’s always down for a good 'organized mess' to sort out if the challenge presents itself. With a smile that can melt hearts, the tenacity that can bulldoze any obstacle and a point of view that always keeps her eye on the prize, we know we are in good hands with Londi on the Team. He is a full-stack Digital Marketer and our digital maestro behind web development, search optimization, web solutions expertise, CRM, and more. Cian is the one who elevates us in the world of binary codes (like 1’s and 0’s) basically he is an SEO Genius who makes sure whatever we post is maximized for Google and everyone who is supposed to see it will see it! We are super excited to welcome Nicholas Preen to the JOE team as the HOD of Verticals and Copy. Nic is a multi-disciplinary creative with experience in music, film, and media publishing. A creative strategist and problem solver, with a broad knowledge and understanding of modern creativity and its importance within the world right now. He believes effective creative storytelling has the power to open one’s mind and the minds of others, to understand and expand awareness, and to overcome prejudice on a global scale. He is also the first member of our London team as we expand globally! Woohoo! He prides himself on developing strong personal relations within any working community and has strong entrepreneurial qualities with an ability to identify and empathize with target audiences. Creating compelling content and staying adaptable to changing market trends within the creative landscape. 
 Nic made his start in the creative landscape as the principal songwriter and frontman of the band; Al Bairre, one of South Africa’s biggest indie exports. With over six years of experience as a creative producer and collaborator, he has worked with various media platforms and organizations, such as CAA, Between 10and5, Courier Media, and Indie Shuffle, to deliver high-quality and impactful content. He has also received awards and recognition for his work as a recording artist and musician, as the winner of Midem's Artist Accelerator Programme in Cannes, France. He currently holds an 'Exceptional Promise' endorsement from the UK Arts Council and resides in London on a Global Talents Visa. Nic’s first interaction with the founder of JOE, came at the age of 13 when competing at the Billabong Juniors surfing competition. Dan did a carving 360 spraying him in the face, and since then Nic has had an admiration for the man, watching from the shoulder, and most recently for his shared creative enthusiasm to combat mental health and passion for creative story-telling with a focus on narratives that inspire, inform, and engage audiences. Matt has joined our production team as a Production Assistant (PA) with over five years of hands-on experience in the world of feature films and commercials. He boasts an impressive track record of involvement in more than 30 projects, collaborating with industry-leading companies such as Netflix, Disney Plus Network, HBO, and Universal Studios Hollywood, among others. Our founder Dan Mace said ‘He is like a multi tool on steroids haha’. Just in the first month he has amplified our seamless pre production with extreme efficiency.
