This article, about the "fifth best place in Lagos", has literally no useful information in it. It is a place where people eat food, drink drinks, and play soccer and tennis, but the article won't tell you where to do these things. It does note that there are hotels, but doesn't provide names or addresses. The traveller is no better prepared to go to this place after reading the article than s/he was before. Agree not much useful information but these sound like arguments for improving an article not deleting one. Having a quick look at were it is maybe is should be regarded as a district of Lagos and merging into that article. --Traveler100 (talk) 20:37, 15 February 2017 (UTC)

There is no option not to keep it. The only options are whether to merge or not merge, and that could be discussed on the article's talk page. But on the matter of whether to merge, since we're discussing that, I just checked Google Maps, which is showing Ikotun to Lagos as taking 45 min by car in a trip of 15.9 km. Such times and distances can be easily exceeded within Los Angeles. If Ikotun is actually a neighborhood within Lagos, a merge might be sensible, but is Lagos actually a large province, perhaps a bit analogous to Honolulu, which actually consists of the entirety of the island of Oahu but is not treated as such most of the time in places like Kailua, the center of the island, the north coast, etc.? I googled Ikotun to see what I could add to the article, and came up with nothing. Unless anyone objects, I will the this onto the Lagos article, which is not overburdened with information now. Ground Zero (talk) 16:24, 16 February 2017 (UTC)

I think that it is a bit distant for a sensible merger, unless there are public transport links that take much less that the 2.5 hours that I found. It may be that there is another nearer town that it could be merged with (but we don't have an article at the moment). AlasdairW (talk) 12:15, 18 February 2017 (UTC)
