While it is true that not all black women use art as a coping mechanism, this documentary will in fact focus on the therapeutic and healing aspects of art. In a world where black women oftentimes don't feel seen and dismissed pertaining to their pain, art has the ability to remove the blinders. The Color Of Pain: Invisible Disabilities will be told through street art/murals, poetry/spoken word, music, archival footage, photographic stills, videos, and interviews.
