|I have worked in the public health field all of my professional career, and have been witness to the many challenges of building a healthy community. I have seen the obstacles faced when it comes to accessing quality care for many in our community.
My goal is to be a representative of my district, of Springfield and the region - moving Missouri forward through inclusive and sustainable policy and advocacy. We all deserve a community that makes us feel welcomed, safe, and supported.
- When I knock on doors and talk to voters in my neighborhood, access to affordable and quality health care - medical, dental, and behavioral health - is consistently a top concern. We know the path forward to reform health care coverage for Missourians. In order to achieve this goal, new representation in our state is required.
- Every Missouri child should have access to free, quality public education regardless of their zip code, race, or class. We need to prioritize strengthening our public schools and fully fund our commitment to our kids.
- A strong economy is one that works for ALL Missourians. Our state should always put workers' interests at the forefront of decision-making.
I believe our community deserves representation that supports families, protects workers, fights for access to healthcare, and celebrates diversity.

Scorecards
A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.
Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
