Jon Hardister (Republican Party) was a member of the North Carolina House of Representatives, representing District 59. He assumed office in 2013. He left office on April 8, 2024.

Hardister (Republican Party) ran for election for North Carolina Commissioner of Labor. He lost in the Republican primary on March 5, 2024.

Biography

Jon Hardister was born in Greensboro, North Carolina. He graduated from Grimsley High School. Hardister received an undergraduate degree in political science from Greensboro College. His career experience includes working in marketing.[1]

Elections for the North Carolina House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on May 6, 2014. The general election took place on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 28, 2014. Incumbent Jon Hardister was unopposed in the Republican primary, while Scott Jones was unopposed in the Democratic primary. Paul Meinhart ran as a Libertarian candidate. Hardister defeated Jones and Meinhart in the general election.[10][11][12][13]
