- Let's bring North Carolina together. Every person has the right to have their voice heard, and their vote counted.
- Comprehensive Criminal Justice Reform is necessary to make our communities safer.
- Clean water is a necessity for every person.
As a former Law Enforcement Officer Michelle believes that Comprehensive Criminal Justice reform is necessary to create safer communities. Michelle is passionate about the environment and agriculture, equity in access to healthcare and believes we should be prioritizing access to mental healthcare.
I look up to my parents. My mother before she died, believed in the ability for all people to achieve their goals if they put in the work and the effort. She was a faithful follower of Christ and believed that by loving our neighbors and caring for each other we would be able to make the world a better place. She and my father instilled these beliefs in me and taught me that people working together for the good of others can change their communities and the world. I strive to follow the examples of my parents. Additionally, I attempt to follow the way of Christ, loving the people that I encounter without judgment. I strive to be a truth-teller while working on behalf of the marginalized and oppressed in our society.
Integrity and honesty are most important for elected officials.
I would like to be known as the candidate that was willing to put people before the party.
I believe the United States' greatest challenges as a nation over the next decade are:
Climate Change
Criminal Justice Reform
Immigration Reform
Veterans Needs
I believe that term limits will help us to live into being a true democracy.
Which candidates are willing to put their personal feelings aside to do the work for all people. Who are those people willing to consider voices other than their own?
