Campaign themes

2016

Fooce's campaign website highlighted the following issues:

I am running for office because I am passionate about protecting our elderly, empowering our educators, providing quality mental health and drug treatment, reducing drug related crimes and overdose deaths, honoring our veterans, fighting for our working class, supporting small businesses and building a WV which attracts and retains our youth. I fully support our Constitution and Bill of Rights, and I will not support legislation which oppresses our citizens.

Many people in my state and community are worried about the decisions made this year in our capitol, which have driven up costs, lowered our state credit worthiness and hurt our construction workers, senior citizens, miners, educators, public employees, contractors, union members, small businesses and many middle class workers.

I cannot stand to see our citizens repeatedly ignored by the leaders who were elected to represent them. My husband is an electrician, and we now worry that he will soon have to work out of state and we may inevitable have to move away from home like many others.[2]
