      CAPSTONE DAY SCHEDULE

(0730-0830) Registration and continental breakfast in Alumni Hall lobby.  USNA Band will play colors ceremony
(0855-1225) Capstone presentations in various classrooms
(1230-1330) Lunch in Volgenau Conference Center (5 th deck of Hopper Hall).  INVITE ONLY.  USNA Jazz band will be featured.   
(1320-1330) Provost's remarks in Volgenau Conference Center (5th deck of Hopper Hall)
(1330-1530) Poster session in Alumni Hall
(1400) Superintendent's remarks in Alumni Hall
(NLT 1700) All large displays are removed from floor level and cleanup complete
Dress code is Summer Whites, service equivalent, or business casual.
SCHEDULE FOR SHUTTLES
Guests will park at the stadium and we will have a shuttle running back and forth from there to Alumni Hall
SHUTTLE SCHEDULE
@ 0700-0900, 2 buses shuttle from Stadium, Gate 5 to Alumni Hall
@ 0900-1200, 1 bus shuttle from Stadium, Gate 5 to Visitor Center, then Visitor Center to Alumni Hall
@1200-1330, 1 bus shuttle from Stadium, Gate 5 to Alumni Hall
@1330-1445, 1 bus shuttle from Stadium, Gate 5 to Visitor Center, then Visitor Center to Alumni Hall --- or if taking departing guests, just go straight to the stadium to drop them off.
@1445-1545, 2 buses shuttle from Alumni Hall to Stadium, Gate 5

The capstone (senior design) project is the culminating academic experience for students here at the United States Naval Academy (USNA).   Working in teams, the 1/C midshipmen (seniors) undertake ambitious, year-long projects that involve creative design, fabrication, and actual system operation/demonstration.
