Critical fire weather conditions are expected Friday into Saturday for portions of the region. Avoid causing a spark, and if you see a fire start, report it!
Strong winds are expected to develop Friday afternoon and persist through Saturday afternoon. Expect winds to decrease Saturday evening. Stay weather aware if you have outdoor or travel plans during this time.
An Air Quality Alert continues through 1 pm today for Sheridan County, WY. Increased concentrations wildfire smoke will cause degraded air quality. Prolonged exertion outdoors should be limited, especially for sensitive groups.
Temperatures will vary over the next few days before leveling out above normal to start next week. While there are low chances of precipitation in the forecast, little to no precipitation is expected with any activity that forms over the next 6 days.
