    Music icons Arijit Singh, Shankar Mahadevan, Sukhwinder Singh , and Sunidhi Chauhan took the stage by storm at the iconic Narendra Modi Stadium, in a breathtaking musical prelude before the India vs Pakistan faceoff at the ICC World Cup, today.

    The musical legends regaled fans with one rivetting performance after the other. Several videos of the artistes belting out their chartbusters at the event as well as singing ‘Vande Mataram’ in a breathtaking group performance have gone viral on social media. The sound of Mahadevan and Singh’s heavenly voices merging into chants of ‘Vande Mataram’ is sure to enchant you!

    Sharing a clip of the artistes singing ‘Vande Mataram’ a cricket enthusiast tweeted, “Listen to the loudness from Crowd at Narendra Modi Stadium When All the 4 musicians Arijit Singh, Sunidhi Chauhan, Shankar Mahadevan, and Sukhwinder Singh sang together to cheer the crowd at the last minute.”

    The live concert was a dream come true for die-hard Arijit Singh fans as the icon performed several chartbusters such as ‘Tum Kya Mile’ (from the Ranveer Singh-Alia Bhatt hit ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani’) and ‘Lehra Do’ live. Other than these hits, he also belted other chartbusters such as ‘Chaleya’, ‘Heeriye’, ‘Jhoome Jo Pathan’, etc.

    A video of the music sensation jumping up and down enthusiastically, with a guitar in hand also went viral. In the videos, he seems to look dapper in a long silver coat and black trousers!

    Bollywood’s singing diva Sunidhi Chauhan also entertained the crowd by performing some of her evergreen hits. Sukhwinder Singh was also one of the performers present.

    Maestro Shankar Mahadevan also put up an electrifying performance of his 1998 chartbuster ‘Breathless’.

    This Indi-pop track was what catapulted the singer-composer to fame in the ‘90s.
