Meet the members of the Barometer Ambassador Committee!   Introducing PD Dr Tina Herold, Senior Physician in the Department of Opthalmology, Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich, Germany. While enjoying the summertime sun, it's important to be mindful of UV exposure by protecting our eyes.   Staring at the sun can damage the retinas in your eyes, causing vision changes and eye pain. This is known as solar retinopathy, and it can cause a variety of symptoms such as permanent low vision.   #UVSafetyMonth

Meet our Barometer Ambassador Committee (AC) member, Dr Seemant Raizada, Consultant Vitreo Retinal Surgeon at the Kuwait Specialized Eye Center. Dr Raizada’s expertise is in diabetic retinopathy and age-related macular degeneration.   Dr Raizada also focuses on providing effective care for patient emotional and psychological needs. Alongside our other AC members, he has been involved in developing materials to support and improve patient care and management.
