    Law firms K Singhania & Co and Capstone Legal ink strategic partnership pact

    Under this partnership, Krrishan Singhania, managing partner of K. Singhania & Co will join Capstone Legal as an Of-Counsel while both managing partners of Capstone Legal - Ashish Kumar Singh and Vagish Kumar Singh will be joining K Singhania & Co. as Of-Counsel to serve each other's clients in the respective jurisdictions.

    Currently, K Singhania & Co has two partners and eight lawyers, while Capstone Legal has two partners and 14 lawyers.
    Mumbai-based law firm K Singhania & Co and Jaipur-based boutique firm Capstone Legal have entered into a strategic partnership.

    Under this partnership, Krrishan Singhania, managing partner of K. Singhania & Co will join Capstone Legal as an Of-Counsel while both managing partners of Capstone Legal - Ashish Kumar Singh and Vagish Kumar Singh will be joining K Singhania & Co. as Of-Counsel to serve each other's clients in the respective jurisdictions.

    “We have decided to enter into a strategic partnership to increase our reach for our clients who may have legal matters in Rajasthan and Gujarat,” said Krrishan Singhania. “Gujarat will be growing as a global business centre with the establishment of the Gujarat International Finance Tech City (GIFT City). We will also be able to assist both international and Indian clients with English law matters having an English Barrister on board,” adds Singhania.

    K Singhania & Co has an office in Mumbai with practices in dispute resolution, real estate, intellectual property laws and estate planning among others. While Jaipur-headquartered Capstone Legal has offices in Jodhpur and Ahmedabad and practices in litigation, general corporate, taxation, transaction advisory and white collar crime.

    “We felt good synergies between the firms in terms of practice areas and complimenting geographies,” said Vagish Kumar Singh of Capstone Legal. “The strategic partnership will also help firms to serve clients in a seamless manner in multiple jurisdictions.”

    Currently, K Singhania & Co has two partners and eight lawyers, while Capstone Legal has two partners and 14 lawyers.

    “As we have seen in the past, there have been best friends relationships between an Indian and a foreign law firm to help them establish grounds in foreign lands and it has worked well for both parties,” said Neha Sharma, founder of boutique legal recruitment and consulting firm Avimukta. “Now we have this concept of Strategic Relationship which helps grow and establish firms within the same Jurisdiction.”

    Recently, Mumbai-based law firm Naik Naik & Co entered into a joint venture agreement with New Delhi-based intellectual property (IP) advisory firm Anand and Anand, for the Mumbai region.
