Stocks in buzz: TCS, Adani Green, Infosys, Sobha, HCL Tech, Delta Corp, Wipro, L&T Finance, Brigade Enterprises, Inox Leisure and more
Nifty futures on the Singapore Exchange traded 41.5 points, or 0.28 per cent higher at 16,981.5, signaling that Dalal Street was headed for a positive start on Wednesday. Here are a dozen stocks which may buzz the most in today's trade:

HCL Tech, Wipro, SW Solar: HCL Technologies, Wipro, National Standard (India), Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy, NxtDigital, Mangalam Industial Finance and Artson Engineering are among the companies that will announce their results for September 2022 quarter today.

Tata Consultancy Services: India's largest software exporter announced a solution which will aid in their roll-outs and usage of CBDC. The Tata Group company has enhanced its blockchain solutions platform Quartz to enable central and commercial banks to support the entire lifecycle of Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC).

Infosys: The IT services major said its president Ravi Kumar S has resigned from his post. The company did not give any reason for the move which comes just days ahead of its second quarter earnings announcement. In his role as president, Ravi Kumar S led the Infosys Global Services Organisation across all industry segments.

IndusInd Bank: US-based hedge fund Route One Fund I divested a 1.54 per cent stake or 1,20,00,000 shares in the private lender at an average price of Rs 1,168.26 aggegating to Rs 1,401.91 crore through an open market transaction, as per the data available with the NSE. Goldman Sachs Investment (Mauritius) I Ltd picked up over 69 lakh shares of the company.

Power Grid Corporation:
The State-run utility major said it has acquired 100 per cent equity in a special purpose vehicle (SPV) to build an inter-state transmission project for eastern and northeastern regions. The SPV was acquired for an aggregate value of about Rs 7.04 crore.

Adani Enteprises:
Adani Data Network, a unit of Adani Enterprises, has been granted unified licence for access services, which enables it to provide all telecom services in the country, according to two official sources. Adani Group entered the telecom sector after buying spectrum in the recent auction.

Dr Reddy's Laboratories:
The drug maker announced that the World Economic Forum has recognised its largest manufacturing facility in Bachupally, here, as part of its Global Lighthouse Network.

Adani Green Energy:
The Adani Group's green energy firms wholly owned subsidiary and aid arm Adani Renewable Energy Holding Four has incorporated two new subsidiaries. These two subsidiaries are Adani Renewable Energy Forty Four and Adani Renewable Energy Forty Eight.

Sobha: The real estate player reported a 13 per cent increase in its sales bookings to Rs 1,164.2 crore for the second quarter of this fiscal year on higher price realisation. Its sales bookings stood at Rs 1,030.2 crore in the year-ago period.

Delta Corp: The casino operator has clocked 19.5 per cent sequential growth in consolidated profit at Rs 68.25 crore for the quarter ended September FY23 and revenue during the same period increased by 8 per cent to Rs 270 crore. The business is very resilient and has bounced back much stronger.

Brigade Enterprises: The realty firm elevated Pavitra Shankar as the company's MD and Nirupa Shankar as joint MD as part of the succession plan. Pavitra Shankar and Nirupa Shankar are the daughters of MR Jaishankar.

L&T Finance Holdings: The financial serivces firm has received approval from Sebi for the sale of 100 per cent shareholding in subsidiary L&T Investment Management to HSBC Asset Management (India). With this approval, all necessary actions are being taken to ensure the completion of the proposed transaction.

INOX Leisure: The leading multiplex chain will live screen all matches to be played by India at the upcoming ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2022 in its cinema halls across the country. It has signed an agreement with the International Cricket Council (ICC) in this regard.

IDBI Bank: The large corporates have been disallowed from being even a minority shareholder in consortium wanting to bid for 61 per cent stake in IDBI Bank, as the current RBI norms bar industrial houses from becoming bank promoters. RBI guidelines allow industrial houses to hold a maximum of 10 per cent stake in private sector banks, but cannot be a promoter.

JSW Energy:
The JSW Group firm said its arm JSW Neo Energy has received a letter of intent from the Himachal Pradesh government for developing the 126 MW Chhatru hydro power plant. BOOT refers to Built, Own, Operate and Transfer.

Indian Railway Finance Corporation
: The Ministry of Railways' miniratna firm (IRFC) and India Infrastructure Finance Company (IIFCL) inked an agreement for financing railways infrastructure. The MoU was signed to strengthen cooperation in financing railway infrastructure projects with forward and backward linkages to the Indian Railways sector.

Suzlon Energy: The turbine supplier has bagged an order for the development of 144.9 MW of wind power projects for Aditya Birla Group. Suzlon will install 69 units of wind turbine generators (wind turbines) with a Hybrid Lattice Tubular (HLT) tower and a rated capacity of 2.1 MW each.

Marksans Pharma: The drug firm said it has inked a pact with Tevapharm India to acquire its Goa-based pharmaceutical formulations business. The company has entered into a business transfer agreement with Tevapharm to acquire its business relating to the manufacture and supply of bulk pharmaceutical formulations as a going concern.

Matrimony.com: The matchmaking service provider has launched an exclusive marriage service -- techiematrimony.com -- to serve information technology, software professionals. The service helps information and technology and software professionals to find a suitable match from the same profession.

Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers:
State-run chemical playerhas signed a long-term agreement with the subsidiary of a German firm for import of 1,05,000 tonnes of Muriate of Potash (MoP) per annum in the next five years. Th MoU was signed between RCF and K Plus S Middle East FZE DMCC, which is the subsidiary of German firm.

Genesys International Corporation: The IT services company has received an order worth Rs 46 crore for the land titling project from the Andhra Pradesh government. The project is planned to be finished by the end of FY23.

Commercial Syn Bags:
The smallcap packaging player said the board of directors on October 22 will consider the proposal for issuance of bonus shares. The board will also consider the increase in authorised share capital of the company.
