Israel-Hamas war: Israeli forces ready for ‘air, sea, land’ assault against Hamas

There is no respite in sight for people of Israel and Palestine as the war between the two entered day 09. As ‘Operation Iron Swords’ intensified, Israel Defense Forces struck major hideouts of Hamas terrorists in Gaza. Israel’s high-scale retaliation after Hamas’ surprise attack claimed thousands of lives leaving scores of people injured. IDF said that it is completing preparations for a “significant ground operation” in the Gaza Strip, The Times of Israel reported. It emphasised that the operation would include a “joint and coordinated attack from the air, sea and land”. Earlier, PM Netanyahu had vowed that Israel would wipe ‘Hamas off face of the Earth’. The military is expected to launch a ground invasion in the Gaza Strip, but its extent may be affected by operational considerations. Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu on October 14 visited the frontline at Gaza border. He interacted with Israeli soldiers on the front line and boosted their morale.
