Japan PM issues emergency alert amid reports of North Korea launching ballistic missiles
North Korea fired at least two suspected ballistic missiles Sunday from near a site that a few days ago it tested a new solid-fuel rocket engine that could enhance its ability to launch quick-strike, longer-range missiles for delivering nuclear warheads. After reports of North Korea launching a ballistic missile, Japan PM Fumio Kishida has issued an emergency alert.
