Impetus is spending Rs 100 crore over the next 4 years on the new campus as it expects its business to continue growing at 40% annually.
Impetus currently has 1,700 employees across its campuses in Noida, Indore and Bengaluru. The company said it will also hire 500 big data professionals in the next 1-1.5 years.
Impetus uses big data technologies to detect credit card and bank frauds for its clients and also helps them to work out customized offers for customers based on their social interactions and spending patterns.
“Back in 2008-09 we realized that social media is taking off and different sets of technologies would be required to deal with the level of data. We then started focusing on big data and in last 4-5 years we have been able to help companies with big data,” Tyagi said.
