Instagram down for users globally

Photo and video-sharing app Instagram is down for users globally. The reason behind the outage has not yet been ascertained.

As per Downdetector, thousands have reported issues with the Meta-owned app in the last 24 hours.


While 42% of users reported problems with the server, 37% said they had issues with the app, as per Downdetector. About 21% of users said they faced difficulties in accessing the Instagram feed.

Meta has not yet acknowledged the outage.
