180-million-yr-old dinosaur egg fossil unearthed by scientists in Jaisalmer hill sparks fresh Sauropod speculation

A fossilized egg, potentially from a dinosaur, has been discovered in the Jethwai-Gajroop Sagar hills in Jaisalmer, India. The egg, resembling a chicken egg, measures about 1 to 1.5 inches long and weighs around 100 grams. Dr. Narayan Das Inkhiya, the scientist who found the fossil, plans to present it to the Geological Survey of India for further investigation. The egg is estimated to be around 180 million years old and could provide valuable insights into the prehistoric past of the region.
